perfect for the price ease of use
this camera is a great price if you're wanting something quick, easy, and lightweight to lug around with you. I loved how my first roll turned out and I especially love that it shoots half frames! wayyyyyyy more economical than a disposable camera. shooting in half frames means you're basically getting double the exposures for the price of one role. absolutely worth it. for film, I used kodak colorplus 200 and I love the colors that came from it. major childhood nostalgia. unfortunately, the flash only worked for a couple of days, but it's perfectly fine without it if you're shooting outside in the daytime. not a huge issue for me. a few of my friends have gotten the Camp Camera that's been blowing up on social, and they weren't super happy with it, especially for the price (~$80 at the time of posting). this Kodak was only about $30-ish. sure, it's more lofi tech, but tbh, that's why I wanted it. in the last pic you can compare the differences between shooting outside on a sunny day without flash (left), and shooting inside with little natural light in the middle of the day with flash (right).

This is NOT a professional camera, but it's a great alternative to disposables.
I'm still relatively new to film photography but, I can confidently say that this camera is very nice to have. I personally just wanted a film camera with the quality of disposables, and this is absolutely perfect. BUILD QUALITY Now as you could guess, the camera itself doesn't have a great build quality, it's pretty much plastic, which wasn't an issue for me, but I know could turn off some buyers to it. The leather and the part above it feel nice to the touch though. One small complaint I do have though is that the battery compartment is a bit sensitive and just grazing it could open it. But I solved the issue by slightly changing where I put my left thumb on the camera. FLASH The flash itself needs a AAA battery and works great. It's very bright and gets the job done for painting the subjects in the dark from about six feet away I'd say. To turn on the flash, you sort of have to spin the border around the lens, there's a spot to grab on to for your nail right at the top, to make it easy. It's also pretty much impossible to turn the flash on and off by accident. LOADING/UNLOADING Loading the film is very easy on this, as you just pretty much put it in there and wind it up until you hear that first click. SUPER IMPORTANT, when unloading, don't forget to click down the rewind button near the battery compartment before unwinding the film. If it unclicks itself during the process, just press it again then it should stay for sure. VIEWFINDER/EXPOSURE COUNT The biggest issue that I have with this camera is the exposure count, as it is more difficult to view than other cameras. I'm not sure why they made it that way, but it is what it is. I don't really worry about it as I have 36 exposure rolls I use (which turn to 72) and always have a spare with me. The viewfinder has little meshlike blocks on the left and right sides, to show what will be taken out of the shot. SHOOTING TIPS I got my film back and it is safe to say that this thing performs really well outdoors on a sunny day. I like the softness and the grain on the images I got back. One note that I will add, is to ALWAYS use flash indoors unless there is a good amount of natural sunlight and use flash when it's not sunny outside. Even if it's light out, if it isn't bright, use flash if capturing subjects. I included an example of what it looks like when you shot in low light without flash (I was using a roll of Kodacolor Ultra Max 400). CLOSING REMARKS I think this is an excellent camera for the price and if you want an alternative to disposables. It's really easy to just pass the camera to a friend who is inexperienced with this camera, as it's pretty much wind, point, and shoot.

Great Casual Camera, Wouldn't Recommend for Indoors
This is a great little camera for fun shots. I wanted to take some film pictures on my trip but didn't want to carry around my regular film camera. This was small and light enough to just throw in my purse or coat pocket. It's essentially a reusable disposable camera, but it's cute and easy to use and I was pleasantly surprised with some of the pictures I got. I wouldn't recommend using it indoors or in any mid or low light situation. I took about half the roll indoors, some of them in very well lit areas, but none of those shots were usable at all. I'm not too upset about that. I wanted to experiment with the limits of the camera, so I knew not everything would turn out. These pictures are on Kodak Gold 200 film.

Honestly this camera isn’t bad for the price. It feels very cheap and flimsy, but it’s really easy to use. It’s a half frame camera, which is good because it basically takes your 36 exposure rolls, and allows you to take double the amount of pictures since each frame is cut in half with two pictures instead of one frame being one photo like a regular camera. I haven’t shot much with this yet, but I have seen pictures people take online and have been blown away by some of the stuff people are taking on this. If you’re getting into film and want to save as much money as possible, while learning the absolute basics of photography, this is it. You load the film, point and shoot. Oh it’s a lil dark in here? Flip on flash and boom, you’re done.

Buyer Beware
I do not recommend! First of all it’s all cheap plastic and would be lucky to last a year, IF it worked to begin with. We wasted 2 rolls of film trying to make sure the film was loaded properly, because the film advance counter is not working……hoping Kodak will back up their product with an exchange, but not holding my breath! They don’t make them like they used to!

Fantastic, fun, portable!
I got this for my missions trip to Tijuana so I didn’t have to take my professional gear. By the way, don’t confuse this for professional equipment, it’s not, it’s a toy. But my god this is so much fun, and it takes surprisingly good photos that feel so nostalgic. I loved that it was half frame, you save a ton of money in the long run that way with film costs, and lab costs. I also loved how small this is, I could stick it in any pocket. Now the only things I didn’t like were the 1/100th shutter speed, it’s too slow in my opinion, lots of blurry shots. I also don’t like that the lens is acrylic, I wish it were glass. All in all, I love this thing and I will continue to use it when it’s appropriate to. The sample photos were shot on fujifilm IS0 200

Even with lowered expectations, I hoped for better
This is a very cheap-feeling chunk of plastic. The style is a nifty-looking throwback but the quality of the build is barely above single-use disposable film cameras. Certainly the quality doesn't justify a price $35-$50 (at the time of purchase Sept. 2023, depending on the model). The half-frame photos are a great idea to eke the most out of expensive 35mm film + processing. As a fixed-focus camera, nothing is ever really in crisp focus. Also there is a significant tilt-shift look to every photo. The center is focused but the periphery is blurred. This is kind of a problem for a photographer who would prefer a focused image with the option to add effects later, either in optical printing or after scanning. If you are okay with a camera with a licensed-out Kodak brand on it but with none of the original Kodak build heft or quality, then this might be a fun, novel camera for you.

Parfait !
