Easy to install
Pretty easy to install, but needs two people to hold it, at least at the beginning. Depending on the surface, the sticky tape may not hold very well (in my case it didn't). Do not rely on the tape to hold the seal permanently. It came with installation screws and plastic holders to hide the screw heads, which is a nice addition compared to other brands. I had to add some additional screws in order to make it flush with the surface. The hard side holds pretty well the screws. After installation, the seal was almost perfect and it slides very well with the garage door. Yes, I would recommended it.

Works well, looks good too
I bought this to close some gaps on the sides of my garage doors. The material was pretty stiff, so after cutting it into the correct lengths, I laid it out flat in reverse under some weights for about 24 hours. Then before putting it up, I laid it out again (under weights) for five hours or so in the sun. Attaching it was easy and it creates a tight seal without impeding the garage doors when operating. I used another brand before (bought at Lowes), but it disintegrated after only a year--probably a combination of the cold winters in upstate New York and full sun in the summer. This seems much more sturdy and the rubber should last longer.

Nice wide garage door seal.
I needed a wide seal for the garage doors in my pole barn. These arrived well packaged and were exactly as advertised. The adhesive on the back is slightly better than nothing, but don't count on it holding the seal in place for very long. It did help with installation though, keeping the seal in place for a few seconds until I could get a screw in. The provided screws and caps were useless for me. They were not hard enough to screw through the metal siding even after I drilled pilot holes. I also put about 2x as many screws in as the instructions indicated to prevent the seal from buckling. The seal itself is very soft and flexible on the 1/2 that seals against the door and fairly stiff on the 1/2 that seals against the door frame. I've only had them installed for a couple of months but they seal well and look nice.

Good product, needed installation instructions, easy to install
I NEVER write reviews, but I liked this product and would like to pass along my learning curve. 1. Unroll and let the insulation strip heat in the sun to get the curve relaxed. 2. Measure twice, cut once, the three lengths according to your garage 3. Do your math and mark the points where you want to place the support screws and drill the holes. I used a 7/64 drill bit. 4. Stick the weather stripping by removing the red adhesive protector small section by section, using a level to keep the stripping straight. 5. Once the stripping has been stuck to the facing, then insert the screws. Tight but not so tight that it distorts the stripping. 6. For additional support, I put 2 white paneling nails in the middle between the screws (see pic) 7. My Daddy taught me to love mitered corners, which I cut early in the process (see pic). I cannot undo it. I would have been much better and energy efficient if I had NOT mitered the corners. The square ends would have looked better and been more energy efficient. I WOULD REORDER AGAIN IF I WERE DOING A SECOND GARAGE DOOR!

Waste of time and money
This is not a quality product, first it is rolled up and cannot lay flat, I had it on my driveway in 89 degree temps and it never flattened out. The adhesive is not thick enough to reach beyond the vinyl to hold on the wood, the screws to hold it are cheap and strip before they get tightened. Halfway through the project I gave up and I now I need to get the PVC type to replace this. Don’t buy it!!

Read this review - it will help you
Product is thick and sturdy and should last for awhile, thats the only positive. Negative is it is hard to work with and wants to fold up even after you lay it out or reverse roll it. Adhesion is terrible, the stick strip is awful and doesnt want to adhere. My suggestion to the company that makes this is to upgrade and use 3M tape. No matter how you install and screw it in it ripples and creates gaps primarily due to the crappy tape not wanting to stick. Be prepared to have to use caulk to fill in the gaps. If I was to do-over I would have went with a solid material versus this roll up version. Problem was finding a 10' section for my size garage doors was impossible to find and I choose not to use a 8' section and have a cut for the 2' piece. Hope this helps and good luck.

Width is too narrow. Very flimsey hard to keep straight.
Not rigid enough or wide enough. I would have returned, but I already cut the first piece before I realized the problem with it. I don’t recommend this to seal a garage doors.

Decent seal
Pre drill holes the caps are flimsy careful if using a drill over drilling can cause problems. Seal covers opening nicely can no longer see light peaking in. Waiting for winter to see how effective it is against the cold.

Price is too much. Saw other that looked the same for like $36.00
It does what it is supposed to do but will not work without the screws. Not meant for a 8ft x 9ft will have lots left over.

Excellent coupe froid

100% rubber
This was used to weatherstrip around sides and top of standard size garage doors The picture we saw looked like it had a white solid piece that you screwed into but was a glued backing on the flat part of rubber stripping In order to keep the rubber from rippling need a second pair of hands to hold it down flat to be screwed on. Excellent quality of rubber though. It does its job.
