The rubber on the original one wore away, this one seems like it should last a bit longer. It was very easy to install, it takes 15 minutes and two tools. The wiring harness snaps right in as well.

Super easy install with minimum tools needed!
Installed this myself with a few tools and a youtube tutorial. Fits 2016 kia rio ex hatchback perfectly! I think this took me about 30 minutes start to finish to put in and now my hatchback works again!
