Beware of these cards, I just sent one to a scammer (I was tired and didn't fully check everything) and when I realised it was too late to redeem. It's basically like sending someone £50 cash I have reported to Apple but they cannot help without a serial number and Amazon are not able to provide. After a long call with Amazon support they admitted that they did not know what to do and I have been told that I will be contacted again within 48 hours with further help. That has now passed and Amazon have not contacted me. I will persist. This is not about my £50, this is about these cards and Amazon should not be freely selling them. A misspelt email address or a scammer and your money is gone without a trace because Amazon does not retain the claim code or the serial number.

I’ve been the victim of a scam by someone who claimed to be from Barclays. They told me that unless I followed their instructions, I would be charged for an unwanted payment supposedly made by someone else using my bank details. Under this pressure, they convinced me to buy a couple of Apple gift cards, even though I had no need for them. I am currently in conversation with Apple to obtain a refund for one of the gift cards, as I received the code by email. However, I never received the code for the second card, so I have not been able to recover that amount. I have still lost £500 for a card I will never be able to use. I’m still in shock, as the money has already left my bank account.

I have just letting you know amazon it is the r bank card but I try again between 5:00am to 6:00am in the morning but it did work for me on Netflix 3:30am this yearly hours in morning 🌄 very sorry but I don't know if I done my bank account properly or not please very sorry from Jason Hughes please

Quick and easy

Just be aware this is a way to get scammed. I have just been scammed to buy a £250 card of amazon, this is the worst feeling ever. Amazon cant help with this so im trying to contact apple to get my money back but unfortunately i don't have the codes to the gift card. I asked amazon to refund or cancel the gift card before its used as it happened 1-2 hr after the purchase and they were unhelpful and said they cant do anything and i would need to contact apple. They could have shared the code with me atleast so i can ask apple to refund it or stop this fraud.
