Extremely great value.
I ordered this and then looked closer at the reviews and almost cancelled my order and paid 4 times as much for a similar product from Painless Performance Wiring. Some of my concerns arose from other reviews relating to the housing being "cheap, flimsy, not weatherproof, arriving cracked" as well as the leads being "too short".First, if you're using this as intended, the leads are plenty long to crimp or solder to. The photo of the product accurately represents the length. You can pay $100+ to get a similar box from Summit or Jegs if you really struggle with adding length to route.Next, the box seems to be pretty typical of what you would expect in a modern car. This box should be within about 6" of your battery for the fuses to do what they are intended to do. I'm unsure how durable this is going to be in the long term but I think it will be just fine for my use case. If anything changes, I will update my review.I don't anticipate using these off-brand relays or fuses. I purchased as a nice little housing for my project.

Great experience with rewiring 14 silverado lighting system
First off. don't buy a chevy lolI used this with 3x 3 position switches and some diodes to rewire my trucks exterior lighting and add some fog lights.I would HIGHLY recommend that you splice longer leads on the wires before anything else. What as pain in the rear I created for myself by not doing this. Works as it should, take a picture of the diagram so you have it on your phone.I wrote the color of the corresponding wire on the top of each relay. With my switches, diodes and this kit I have a switch for lowbeam, high and low beam (diode), front fog, rear fog, "key-on" override and 1 extra that I haven't used yet, maybe train horn? who knows, you can find the 3 position switches on here. I ran an 8 conductor 16awg for the switches which wire to the relays NC contact.

Good quality, tight connectors
My brother and I used two of these boxes to rewire a classic car. We liked the compact design and we bought an extra to fill one with relays and the other we filled all but two spots. We didn't need the fuses as we kept the OEM fuse block. We bought the bare assembly so we wired it ourselves. We have the proper tools to give great crimps on open terminals, we are very experienced in that task. The boxes are good and strong, plenty good enough to pass as OEM on a modern car IMO. What I don't like is that the relays are so tight together it is very difficult to get them out. We have to use a flat bladed screwdriver, often two at a time, to pry them out. The connection terminals provided have a high tension on the blades of the relays. It would be great to have some sort of tool to grip the relays from above so they can be pulled out more easily. Additionally the individual relay blocks that hold each relay snap in from the top of the box. As we've pulled out a relay the block sometimes comes loose, that's why we need to use two pry tools, one to hold the block down and one to pry on the relay. We placed the two boxes side by side, and the design for mounting to a panel accounts for this, the ears are staggered so they can be put side by side without having to change the height, a nice level installation. I would not say these are water proof, but they are quit tight. The bottom needs a tool to pry it off. Overall we are happy with these, just wish the connectors were not so tight.

Ease of use.
This fuse box was perfect for a project I had. Wiring was super easy it also saved me a bunch of time not having to wire the relays myself. It just needs main power, ground and its trigger source. I wired my own connectors to it and it worked flawlessly.

Not really water proof
The description claims that the covers make this a water proof box but the covers have no gaskets. It would be fine in an engine bay but I would not put this on a boat or anything that goes off road. The material quality seems good for the price but since it isn't suitable for my project I have not attempted to use it.

High quality contacts, well bui8lt
First off is the unit that I got does not match the picture of the description. As others noted it actually has six Bosch five pin relays with no 4 pin. They relay mounting surface on the unit that I received had a closed face (individual snap in relay mounts in a plastic frame) and was a nicer part than pictured. What I really liked is that the contacts are all 0.36 mm thick material, instead of the more typical 0.28mm contacts you buy in kits. The thicker contacts do increase the face needed to insert the relays, but is helpful to insure a good connection on high current, large gauge wires.I would recommend using the supplied contacts just on the power switching connections and substitute regular terminals on the connections to the relay coils. Using all thick contacts makes swapping relays more difficult than it needs to be. It also lets you keep a few spare "good" contacts if you make a mistake.I made one small improvement to the design by adding a wire guide that fits helps to align wires to the box. The helps keep the wires from twisting the contacts in the box. This seemed to really help when using stiff 12 AWG wire. The unit works either way.Overall, I was very happy with the product.I attached a screenshot of the wire guide I 3D printed.
