Once in a while when you see a tool, you've never used before, that you know it really works. I am not a professional tiler, but I enjoy tiling. I find any excuse to lay tiles for me or friends. It's like an art project. When you lay a large tile in big volume, my right hand starts to hurt doing a repeated motion of using the trowel. With this tool, I know it speeds up the process. This tool make the user use two hands in a more natural position - like playing a piano. I cannot wait to use this tool. I have to find an excuse.

Wish there was way to adjust depth

I saw a similar trowel used in a pool tiling video. I got this to help reduce the strain on my wrists from the constant side to side motion required with a normal tile bedding trowel. This allows a straight pulling motion that reduced the strain on my wrist tendons considerably. The notches are large and suitable for large tile or stone, not for mosaic sized tiles. I recommend this to anyone needing to reduce the strain on their hand and arm joints.

If you're thinking about installing large format tiles this a great option for covering a large areas. It's a bit cumbersome for back buttering but great for vertical as well as horizontal coverage.

This tile trowel definitely helps my husband tile much faster and easier. It makes his installation process much easier ! The tiles do stick well when he uses this and it allows him to have a same leveled area. Good quality !
