Easy assembly, durable, and flies well
I am excited that my 5-yr-old great niece is going to visit. I wanted to find something fun for us to do together and I picked up the Mint's Colorful Life Butterfly Kite. My niece likes to pretend she is flying so I think she will enjoy flying this kite with me. I live near the beach so we can almost always find a good kite breeze there.I haven't assembled or flown a kite in ages so I wanted to practice before trying to assemble this kite with my niece. I found this kit to be very easy. There are clear instructions. In addition, they bound together the kite sticks that went togethertaking out some of the guesswork. The materials were top-notch. The kite sticks are like tent poles and the kite material is a durable rip-stop. Everything is reinforced where the poles could possibly poke throughKite tails and kite string are also included. I am not sure the string will hold up on a blustery day, but it did hold up to a few good gusts of wind at my house.It took me only 5 minutes to assemble the kite. I quickly had it in the air on front of my house. It looks beautiful in the air. It even looked like the butterfly was flapping its wings when it caught some stronger bursts of wind. I felt like a kid.The only hard part about this was trying to get it back in the case it came in. I want to make sure my nephew will have room to take the kite home after their visit. I don't think my great niece will want to part with it.

Lovely design and good to launch.
Granddaughter loved the design on the kite. Has had a chance to fly it on local park. Easy to put together and launch. Lightweight for young children. Granddaughter is 3.
