I needed to solder in a new battery for one of my original Gameboy Color games. I've bought soldering tools elsewhere but this one by far is the best I've come across. Not just the price but the quality of product. The solder pen is light but the tips are not, I like that the tips are a durable sold metal. Previous soldering tool tips would dull extremely fast because the metal couldn't handle the level heat from the gun or pen. Double that with use and they would dull extremely quickly. So these tips are fantastic. The cord is about 5 ft long. The pen fits nicely in my hand. Control is fluid. Heated quickly, stayed hot. Great little pen. I was happy that this bundle came with solder paste/flux and solder wiring. No extra purchases, all in one is very convenient. Flux worked great, the solder wire was average. It worked and now I can save my games lmao the only thing that would be nice is copper braids were included so i could clean old solder off but its not an essential in this case. Overall very happy with this product, especially considering it only cost 12 dollars. I'm not sure how it will do on big projects, although I'm sure it will do just fine, but it was perfect for what I needed.

This was the least expensive micro solder kit i could find on amazon and it doesn't disappoint at all!A few hints for use: Some tips took solder just fine while others refused to hold any. Maybe they had oil/residue on them, rinse off beofre use maybe? The kit comes with several tips so i really only have 1-2 I like anyway... "Solder Paste" is flux! It cleans surfaces and creates surface tension to draw the solder where you want it to go. Use a tiny bit and only put it where you want the solder to be. While it is possible to not use flux- heat the items to be soldered in the correct position while simultaneously melting a drop of solder at the precise right moment to flow together, iron in one hand, stick of solder in the other like a real tig welder or goldsmith or something, I don't recommend that technique for beginners. I set it to 350 degrees C. That's what the picture on the package showed and it works well for me. YMMV. I bump it up to 375 if I'm feeling spicy.Anywho this is a good kit for doint the little mini solder projects with the kids found on this website, and also toy repairs. I am an expert toy repairer by now after 10 years and I highly recommend it for the price A+. Or spend three more clams and get the blue one. I have no idea what the difference is!

I bought this soldering iron to complement my weller soldering station. I wanted something that was fast and easy to breakout when doing small soldering jobs. The iron heats up fast, its light and easy to control. My only compliant, the AC stress relief on the end of the iron comes off real easy. Not a deal breaker, so far been a dependable iron.

For the price it’s not bad. It cannot be used on metal or heavy duty things. The heat is fairy hot and takes a good few minutes or more to cool off. Overall for my planting needs it’s ok. Ex. Making drains in my plastic planters. Just not good for everything.

I wanted to mod my ps5 controller and fix a joystick drift issue. This was easy for me to do with this user friendly tool. Kept it at 400 and heats in seconds. Great quality/power for the price. Maybe have some kind of copper sponge or something on the side to clean it in intervals during use. Comes with versatile tips in the box for alternative circumstances.

This works very well; heats up quickly and does a fantastic job. However, the heat control switch is so small that it's not easy to see the extreme fine print of heat settings. Apart from that single caveat it's a good product.

Very handy, complete kit with pouch for easy transportation, including everything necessary, easy to use, and work as described.Quality is ok, but at that price, worth for occasional home use.

It's a cheap Soldering Iron Kit perfect for people who want to do small jobs or just want to play around with soldering but it does feel cheap and I know it will one day just stop working but right now it works fine and does the job.

Es tal como se observa en las fotografías del vendedor, lo he probado un par de veces y me ha gustado mucho, el control de temperatura funciona perfecto, claro, este es para un uso "doméstico" y es un excelente kit para principiantes, pero me gustó mucho debido a la relación calidad-precio. No le pide nada a otros más caros, cabe resaltar que para el multimetro es necesario una batería de 9 V la cual no incluye.
