This has been the best Combo square I have ever used. The blade is very sturdy and the angles are accurate. I had to replace an old one because it was not accurate enough. Not sure yet how the zinc head performs/wears compared to aluminum, but it has a good heft to it.

Unlike several reviews I read, the square I received won't cut your hand off. It required a little light lubricant when I received it and is square, with virtually no play or movement in the slide. It has clear, etched, and complete measurements on tye blade. I like the clean crisp cut of the materials so that it fits together smoothly and precisely. This is an accurate and functional tool that should last a long time. I really like the 16 inch length. My many year old 12 inch square was always a little short for many uses.The single CON: I have is the color of the level. I don't care for the blue liquid. It is harder to see than even the clear liquid my old square used. I would have preferred the newer yellow fluid color, but then I'm old.If it had the yellow level I would definitely buy again... I bought it anyway and, "I like it..."

This replaced a like device that was made with a plastic frame instead of metal. It lasted for more than 20 years but got stepped on. This one will outlast the old one because the frame is made of metal and no matter the hazards will not break. It is also 16 inches long compared to the old ones 12 inches so less maneuvering on longer cuts.

Liked the stainless steel rule and 16 inch length.

Works as advertised, good price for standard shop tools , the guys seem to like them

This tool seems to be well made. The numbers on the ruler are easy to read. The square locks in very well and slides easily on the ruler. Once locked down, it stays square without any noticeable play.
