WiFi Power Outage Alarm Detector, Power Failure & Restoration Alerts with SMS Text, Email & Audible Alarm

I’ve been very happy with this outage alarm detector so far. The setup was straightforward and it connected to WiFi without any issues. Notifications are fast and reliable, which is exactly what I needed. It’s especially useful for checking on power outages remotely when I’m not home. Small device but very useful. Highly recommend.

This product works exactly as advertised. No problem at all. Was easy to set up and has notified me when power has been lost. I have a breaker that trips randomly with my downstairs refrigerator on that circuit. This product notifies me and saves me money because the food in the fridge does not spoil. Great Product!

A very inexpnesive and reliable method to monitor for power on any circuit. For me, it is to tell me if I have lost power on a freezer, protecting the thousands of dollars of food stored in there. I have experienced where a loss of a circuit breaker in the past caused a full loss of all items within. This item has done exactly what I needed: Monitor and alert when power is lost. If I lose power, I get an audible tone in the garage indicating the loss, but far more importantly, I get a text message and email that says "Power lost to <freezer> at XX:XX am/pm". I can take immediate action to ensure I have alternate power or provide a way to move the freezer items to avoid spoil. What more can you want. Has saved me once already. I may get for one other circuit as well as I trust this to work. It is simple, small, and seems to have good battery life. It does not say in description what it says in the packaging in which you get 300 text messages before you run out. That may be a concern for some, but I do not plan on losing power that often. It does not affect email service, thought. Well worth it. Do understand that if you lose power to entire house, it may not get message sent before your internet router loses power, so understand that limitation. For me, I have the router on a battery backup so it will send the signal regardless. Highly recommended.

Setup was simple and the device works exactly like it should. Just the other day, I had a breaker flip after I forgot to turn off an air compressor which cut the power to my garage fridge. Instant notification on the phone allowed me to notice the power interruption and remedy the situation.

Excellent device. Provides an instantaneous alert via text and email when a power outage and restoration occurs. Hasn't missed a single outage.

I initially had an issue getting my Risinglink to connect to my internet even after splitting my 5g from my 2.4g which is the one needed for Risinglink. I contacted customer support who got back to me within 10 minutes. They were very helpful and asked me to double check my password and reminded me it is case sensitive. Sure enough, I had a capitol letter on the form I filled out for Risinglink that was not capitalized on my password. Once that was resolved, it works great. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I want to see if it continues to work over an extended period of of time.

Where I live, we are very prone to power outages that can affect sensitive equipment. In addition, my surroundings are very dark during these outages, and it is very important to take necessary safety precautions. After evaluating several options for power outages alert systems, I decided to purchase the Risinglink Power Failure Alarm, Power Failure Detector, on November 2025 and it was the best decision I could have made. First, you do not need a subscription to receive alert emails. The device also sends text messages. I found the installation instructions very easy to follow. Since installation, the device has worked flawlessly, even sending emails and text messages within seconds of each other when there are very short duration outages. I consider this a very reliable and cost-effective alert system.

I bought this item on Nov 2023 and it has worked always without any problems. I use it as an additional notificator to my solar system so I know if something is happening with my inverter and/or solar system battery. Here in Puerto Rico you must be on top of the power outages at all times. By-the-way, after three years, still notifies that the internal battery is 100%. This unit is very simple to install and configure, and it works from day one. Recommended!

This connects to your wifi, if the power goes down it sends you an email. It works because my wifi is on an uninterruptible power supply so my wifi stays alive if the power goes off.

Bene perchè segnala le interruzioni di corrente in modo ottimale e preciso. Non benissimo perchè: Costa troppo Non manda sms al di fuori degli USA (quindi solo email) Non si puo programmare quindi ha un fuso orario sballato. Serve internet altrimenti non funziona (ma questo è dichiarato dal costruttore)

Amazing!! This device sends you a text and email immediately after a power outage occurs. It also sends another text and email once the power has been restored. Note that it only monitors power of a single outlet/circuit. I have it on the same outlet/circuit as my large chest freezer in our detached garage. The second that outlet loses power I receive a notification and can act accordingly. Great for any circuit or remote location such as a cottage, you’ll know if there has been an interruption of power. Important to note that the device must remain connected to the internet in order to send the notification. If the power to you Internet router or hub goes down simultaneously you will not receive the notification. I put my router on a UPS (battery backup) power supply and it ensures the internet stays active long enough to allow the notification to get sent out. I highly recommend this device over other models I researched!
