Really great sounding earbuds when the standard earbud tips are replaced with memory foam earbud tips
When I first got these I was really disappointed in the sound. It was flat with little definition or bass. I was ready to send them back but loved the idea that the base station can provide quick charges to my phone so I set about seeing if I could improve the sound. I noticed that by pressing them slightly into my ear the sound improved greatly. So I knew they had great potential but needed to figure out how to get it out of these headsets. After a bit of poking around on Amazon I found some New Bee Super Pillowy Soft Foam Earphone Tips and decided to take a chance to see if these would fix the sound issue. The tips just arrived and I slipped them on the earbuds. Crickey! What a difference!! These earbuds now have a much richer, balanced sound! They also fit more securely into my ears. I hope the manufacturer figures out to put the better memory foam tips on these so their product actually sounds like it was designed.Highly recommend as long as foam earbud tips are used. Good headphones for the price just not perfect for me
I feel as if I've been around the block trying to find a good pair of true wireless earbuds. I started out with the Bragi The Heaphones, then the Bose SoundSport Frees, onto the Nuheara IQBuds and then onto these. I also bought my girlfriend the B&O E8s and she let me try them briefly. Ultimately we ended up with Airpods and this review with outline why I ended up returning these earbuds by xFyro even though I so wanted to like them.As you can see, from the list of headphones I'd tried, I was figured that if you paid more money you would get better headphones. Without getting into too much detail, I found that logic to be very much untrue. I will be doing Amazon reviews of all the headphones I mentioned, except for the B&O E8s if you are interested.PROS:I found it to be very well presented (I'm a sucker for a two piece box made out of thick cardboard) and the item itself felt well constructed out of bushed aluminum. They connected well to my iPhone 7 after following the instructions provided. Some earlier reviews had mentioned that it came with inadequate instructions so I guess they improved on that.I was planning on using these mostly at work so I needed them to be able to connect to my phone individually. For this to happen I had to pair each individual earbud to my phone though they both registered under the same name "xFyro". I though this was odd but at first they had no problem transitioning from single earbud to dual earbud listening.I never tested their water resistance but their IPX7 rating was clearly stated in the included instructions which I really liked.Another problem with almost all of the true wireless headphones I've tried is noticeable audio lag while watching videos. The videos you watch start looking like dubbed foreign films because the audio just doesn't match the speakers mouth. Thankfully, this was not an issue with these earbuds! The bluetooth connection with these earbuds is as strong as any other earbud indoors. I walked a good 25 feet away and not once did the audio cut out.Lastly, I really like that I could use the charger as a power bank. I have a comparatively large and heavy 20000 mAH power bank I carry in my backpack but with this I can just leave the big one at home as long as I don't anticipate being away from an outlet for more than a day. I never got to see how much juice the battery would give my phone but I can confirm that it does work.CONS: (Unfortunately)As I mentioned before, the headphones were able to transition between single earbud and dual earbud pretty seamlessly. But on the third day of using them, only one earbud would put out audio at a time. I tried re-pairing them individually to my phone after eliminating them from the saved list of bluetooth devices on my phone but still I got just mono audio. I tried following a youtube link that was printed on the instructions, thinking that maybe I was doing something wrong, but the link led to a video that no longer existed. The stems on which the eargels sit are slightly shorter than those found on any of the other similar earbuds I tried but this made a whole lot of difference to my ears. I ended up not being able to use any of the included eargels because they couldn't sit deep enough into my ear canal to keep the earbuds in securely. Luckily I have a collection of eargels from previous earbuds I've had and I ended up putting some Comply foam eartips on that held the earbuds in.The last thing that would technically be a con is the sound quality. Mind you, mind upper threshold comparison for sound quality from true wireless earbuds are the Bose SoundSport Frees and I enjoy a balanced sound signature rather than a bass heavy one. I'd put the xFyros' sound quality on par with a $15 pair of wired headphones. The highs aren't piercing or tinny, the mids are clear, but the bass really only starts to show up if you put your EQ setting to Bass Booster. In the end, maybe I just a bad pair. I ended up just returning them because, after the trouble I've gone through trying to find a pair of true wireless earbuds that I liked, I didn't feel like going back and forth with returns. I'd say these are still worth a try because countless other people have had a much better experience than I have.

No longer sync/pair with each other
Was so excited to get these. They were wonderful at first. Easy to pair, decent sound, and hey, I could wear them while blow drying my hair. Well...the first pair quit just outside of a week, so I contacted the company directly for help. Absolutely superb customer service. They verified my Amazon purchase, and shipped a new pair the same day. Here we are, a few weeks later, and the earbuds no longer sync/pair to each other. I emailed the company, and again, fabulous response time but, unfortunately, the info provided didn't help. It may just be time to admit that I need to give up on these earbuds.EDIT: Heard back from Xfyro. They offered a discount on the next generation version of this product. Although the previous version is still under warranty, I've decided to migrate away from them due to pairing glitches. Will write a new review after trying the 2nd generation ear buds. As always, though, Xfyro offers top-notch customer service, so don't be afraid to try their products. I think I just had a run of bad luck. But the company did everything they could to make it right, so I changed the initial 2 stars to 3.
