Because I often haul items on a sedan roof rack, bungees are a daily part of my life. The version you buy at the hardware store with two hooks are great, but especially on roof racks with larger diameter tubing, you have to fight to force the loop the hook around the rack. This great design allows you to simply loop the actually bungee around the rack instead, which is much more secure. Feed the hook through the loop on the other end, and you've got a self-tigtening loop! This is the most secure design I've seen for securing the tie-down to the vehicle.The hook is not quite large enough for my rack, but I've never found one that is, I can't knock the bungee too much for that. It hooks easily to other bungees, while providing the most secure connection to the rack available - that's enough for me. A little tip for those of you who may have the same problem: instead of connecting bungees to the rack, loop at least two strong zip ties to the rack and attach your hook to those instead. Zip ties + bungees = easy hauling. That's my formula.This is a STRONG bungee. I love its secure feel. It also stretches a little more than the cloth-covered bungees, giving you more flexibility. And they've lasted for a while so far with no signs of wear.Overall, though a tad pricey, these have become my favorite bungees in my kit. I highly recommend them.

Working perfectly! I’m actually using it in a makeshift setup for holding up our folding treadmill after the real clip broke. Holds very sturdy with the constant pressure and easily removed when needed. I also really like the color!

Lasts longer than the cheap ones at the big box and I like the way you can strap them on. Almost too pricey but I would recommend them to anyone that leaves them in the back of their truck.

These are perfect! We use them to tie down a sun shade during monsoon season. The stretch and length is just right. Love the loops - they attach nicely around the pole for the shade.

Well made, stretches well. I use it on my motorcycle and was a little skeptical the hook would slip out after sitting in the sun all-day but it has held up.

Sturdy bungee, but no WAY does it safely stretch to 5 feet. It hardly moves from it's original size of 30".

This is the best bungee cord made. I use it on an outdoor umbrella that gets sun for the whole day. It lasted 5+ years in direct sun before it finally said ENOUGH!! Highly recommend this.
