Great fun and keeps your hand-eye coordination sharp if you have another big outdoor drone.

Really good quality for the price, but battery doesn't last long.

Great little drone, especially for beginners. My eight-year-old son loves it and took to flying it very easily. It is also very sturdy despite its small size. The battery life is what it says on the tin and I suppose it's the most they could pack into it, but one always wants more. I reckon you get about ten minutes worth of fun out of it before having to change the battery. The good news is that changing the battery is extremely easy to do. By accident the propeller guards weren't included in the original package, but the customer service was excellent. They replied to me on Christmas Day, which I did not expect, and immediately sent them out via post. Very impressed with the service.

I bought this drone for my son for Christmas 2023. He has flown drones before, and I have one of my own so it wasn't going to be our first rodeo. This drone seemed like it fit the bill well for what he needed, without being too expensive or difficult to use. Unfortunately this turned out to not be the case. The drone firstly would not connect to the app no matter what we tried. We used multiple phones and still it would not connect. No matter, we decided we would fly the drone by eye. However, the drone is very difficult to fly. To connect and start the drone you make a sequence of directional movements with the joysticks. This is very clunky and takes multiple attempts to achieve. It will not hover in one place. It will drift to one side and this must be corrected at all times, regardless of the wind or if this was indoors or outdoors. It will move violently in one direction, and in directions that are not input by the user. Worst of all, once the battery gets low it will stop to listen to operator input and start to move away from the operator and continue to increase speed! The only way we could save it from being lost was to turn off the controller and get it to fall to the ground, hoping it didn't break! Don't waste your money, instead buy another drone that you will enjoy.

Not impressed I would recommend people spend a little more but that said its good for practicing flying a drone before you make a bigger purchase but it's not difficult so I would opt for a more higher end drone by a well known brand

Great little drone basically, great features like camera. Issues: lots of control combinations to remember, even for important basics like pairing with the controller. Not easy to calibrate, hover not great, even indoors Battery life not great, by the time you have actually got it flying it needs replacement - fortunately they provide 2 and they are rechargeable linking to mobile phone app is also not obvious/simple - have got nowhere with mastering this after using for a month, still rely on main controller.

Really liked the look and 1080 cam appealed over having a storage bag for the same money. The Deerc D40 seems to be overlooked for the D20 but im glad i went for the unpopular choice ,as a first quadcopter/drone you cant want for more ,havnt flown outside as i have a lot to learn and have no need to get an operator i.d yet. Picture quality is sharp on the phone , very little lag indoors for fpv .
