For the enthusiasts.
Lack of photos rather disappointing, but a decent read.

not worth the money
Although the authors enthusiasm for the formula ford festival is apparent the book, it is just a general overview of the event. It is let down by the lack of pictures and no results section. The chapters are not broken down into years which is another disappointment, it is just re written Autosport / motoring news race reports with no new information, nothing like a legend has it the overall winner one year who went onto be an f1 driver was using an illegal locked diff until the final when the car was rebuilt just before the final took place is in the book. It also highlights the drivers who went onto greater things even if they did poorly at the event. There is no mention of any smaller marques like martlet (bob higgins), image, PRS, etc who has taken part in the event.having read the book it will probably be returned and i will get i will get 50 Years of The Formula Ford Festival Hardcover which looks like a far better book.
