My office chair moves in directions I do not like. I have tried replacing the caster wheels with bell guides on my heavy office chair. They did make the chair immovable; however, they also made moving it feel very heavy. Doesn't work for me. When I saw caster wheels with locks, I thought to myself, now why didn't I think of that earlier, before I bought the bell guides? I read in the review that you can lock 1-2 wheels, which will make the chair not glide as easily, yet it is still movable when you need it to. So, I went ahead and purchased these to test them. Very easy to install, just remove the bell guides and snap these in. Locking the wheels is very easy. But I do worry about the level snapping if I use it frequently. Fantastic. Worked like a charm. I am so delighted with this. I will just be very careful when I use the lever to lock/unlock the wheels.

Makes an office chair more fun. Very quiet but smooth. Got these for my daughter’s chair as her room slants and the chair kept rolling away from the desk. Just popped out the old wheels and popped in the new ones. (Easily installed) I think I might get some fit my chair. I like the roller blade look too. Needed the locking mechanism. Very happy.

The wheels glide across the floor like a dream. I purchased the locking wheels, because the chair spent most of its time on hardwood between my desk and a TV, and I wanted it to stay put. The locking is where it goes wrong. The lock mechanism is made of metal for durability. But has the side effect of gashing and poking your ankle if you unlock the wheels to roll a bit. I'm buying the double wheel without locking to remedy this. I feel like if they could redisgn the lock to not poke right into your ankle, these would be a must have for any office chair.

My only complaint is that they are actually too rolly… if you have a hard floor you’re gonna be sliding all over the place… that said… if you have them locked you won’t move an inch… even if you’re like me using them on a “racing simulator”

These wheels are so much better than plastic flimsy wheels. They lock, that easily roll, have good speed, are very quiet, and overall make sitting in a chair so much better all for a great price and the simplest upgrade. It makes my gaming chair ten times better.

Without thinkimg I bought an office chair. I never considered the wheel. The wheels on the chair did not have locks and fell looked up on Anszomy and bought the wheels that had locks and out them on and they work perfectly.
