Is this item still shipped folded flat? I read reviews that say it is wrinkled, won’t stand up, and folds over because of the folded flat shipping

It came without any stuffing material in it. It wasn't folded in an awkward way; it looked the way it's pictured with the bottom folded up. There were no unusual wrinkles on it, just the natural gain of the leather. Once I loaded it with my stuff it stood up on it's own. It's not floppy like a hobo bag, it's stiffer than that but not hard like a briefcase. It's a nice bag.

Can you ship with stuffing rather than folding the purse to avoid creating a crease?

I have had this bag for well over a year and truly can't remember if it came to me folded. If it did, my purse had not shown a crease not had it flopped over at the handles.

There is no such thing as 'top layer cowhide', 'Genuine Leather' is made of leather scraps and is a cheap leather, what is this made of really?

There is no label or tag inside the bag that says it is leather. The two brand /manufacturer paper tags attached do not say it is leather. I can’t tell if it is leather. It does have quality construction. The dark brown purse I bought seems to have an odd sheen or a bit of a gloss to it which I do not think is normal for leather. Undecided and suspect since there is no interior label nor mention on the brands tags. Made in China.
