Is this an authentic Higonokami knife? And does it come with the authenticity card certificate?

What does “blue paper” mean ?

It is carbon steel, blue paper steel has less carbon than super blue (aogami) and more than white paper steel. So its referring to a 'grade' of steel.

Whats its rating on a sharpness scale?

This knife came sharp enough to cut copy paper out of the box. It was puchased as a novelty gift. I didn't try to test it further or improve the edge. After all, this is an inexpensive knife, and it has other issues that make it less than desirable as an EDC. It is very stiff opening and closing which makes any sharp knife somewhat dangerous to handle. Personally, I carry a Buck folder with one hand assisted opening. The difference in price is negligible, it is made in the USA, has a lifetime warranty, and stays sharp even with frequent use.

Is it really from japan?

Made by Nagao Seisakusho in Japan. This is in the description. I have no reason to think otherwise. It is a quality steel but keep it oiled.
