Definitely a better Mousetrap in this instance.
After spending nearly a week using standard old school wooden traps to basically feed the mice that had snuck into my pantry I was frustrated and decided to try something else. The rating and price made me give these a go. First thing I noticed was how convenient the "L" shaped bar was so you never had to lift on the "killing" bar but instead had a handle to prime the trap. Second the large trigger plate meant more opportunities for the trap to be sprung.So unfortunately for my little guests these traps were delivered on Labor Day (thanks Amazon) and within 10 minutes of baiting and placing one mouse had eaten his last meal and a second was only a few hours behind. While I'm not sure these are the height of better mousetrap technology they are far superior to your old "reliable" wooden traps of days gone by.

These are much easier to use and to setup than traditional wooden traps. I am not afraid to get my fingers snapped off with these.Although only 2 out of 4 of of my initial pack worked, the company stands by their product and immediately contacted me and is replacing them right away. They seem to genuinely care about their products going out and their customers. Much appreciated!!

These work great and very easy to set
I didn't realize how easy to set these traps were to set. It can be done with one hand. I think they are more reliable because of the short distance the bar has to travel to strike its target. Only have what the old traps travel so less chance to react and get out of the way.

I bought this at the recommendation of a friend, as I was using the normal wooden one with a hard to set spring. I have caught many mice, mostly outside where they love to get comfort in my out door grill, for some reason. It is easy to set, and easy to release when caught. I love it, these should last a lifetime.

One little stinker
I have had these traps for a little over a year and they are not working well now. Last night the mice ate the peanut butter out of the trap. I am feeding the little buggers now

Waste of money and time
I purchased these with high hopes... I set up 6, in doing so I found that they were difficult to set, finally after much frustration I had them set and ready to go. And, the next day... the peanut butter was eaten from all of the cups, however, the traps did not snap, not one of them, and the mice were happy. Into the garbage the traps go... no, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Legitimate
These mousetraps are definitely the way to go. I'm disabled and my caretakers cannot set the Victor would at once. Plus she can reuse these and they're so much easier to set and they work good
