Red Samurai Keycaps Set 164 Keys PBT Doubleshot Keycaps Cherry Profile Custom Keyboard Keycaps for Cherry MX 61/64/68/84/87 Mechanical Keyboards

I'm an absolute sucker for the color red. These keycaps also allowed me to customize my keyboard with another keycap set I had to make a bit of a custom scene. Two things to note: If your keyboard is backlit, these keycaps don't allow light to shine through. The numbers and letters will not illuminate. Not a big deal for me, but might be for others. The other thing, is that I notice these keycaps dull the tactile feedback of my keyboard. I bought a mechanical keyboard base with red switches purposely for the click. The stock caps that came with the keyboard had a MUCH more crips click. These still click, but less so than my stock ones. I still love this keycap set, and am so happy it was available, but mechanical keyboard enthusiasts may not desire it for the lack of tactile feedback.

Very nice, I bought other keycaps to put on this keyboard for a theme for a co worker. Feels amazing, not too loud. Lights are bright enough and functions well. Nice color and has a nice thickness to it. The new keycaps fit perfectly on here and has a bit of heaviness but it feels great and feels expensive! Great price for what it’s worth

I’m really impressed with the Red Samurai Keycaps Set! They feel solid and well-made, and the colors look amazing on my keyboard. The cherry profile is comfortable for typing, and I love that the legends won’t fade over time. If you’re looking to upgrade your keyboard, these are a great choice!

Photos clearly show that the spacebar plus some of the other keycaps should be gold, there are no gold colored keycaps in the set I received

The set looks nice and doesn't ruin the sound of a well-tuned keyboard. It actually improved the sound of my backspace stabilizer, which I previously couldn't eliminate the ping from. My only complaint is that the set has multiple FN keys instead of FN1/FN2.

These are very good considering the price paid for them. I have a Red Dragon mechanical keyboard and I had no problem installing them. Just one note: They are smaller in height compared to the default keycaps that Red Dragon provides. It's not a problem to me though but you might want to check that out if is a deal breaker for you. Also, it came with spare keycaps and keycaps with an additional color, which was a nice plus.

I replaced the stock key caps on my Keychron V3 with this set, and they look very nice against the black frame. I prefer these cylindrical key caps to the stock spherical set, and the sound of the boards is at least as good.

the keycaps is so beautiful, but theres some key that the letter is so thick, i dont know is that default or not but that's only small problem, so i don't mind it.

Excellent quality for the price. I bought this set to replace the keycaps on my RK Royal Kludge Limited Edition keyboard. The RK keyboard was great especially for the price but the keycaps that came with it were meh. These keycaps added the nice visual quality I was looking for. The quality of the keycaps were pretty good. One very minor gripe was that the yellow spacebar was a bit too high compared to the bottom row keycaps. Other than that I am very happy with this set.

This was my first set of "custom" keycaps they sound pretty decent the spacebar wasn't compatible with my rk61 the yellow was a little lighter shade than I thought but it still looks good minor defects on the base of them like I was expecting but for a budget first set I considered it a really good purchase

These fit perfectly on my Mistel MD770 (split keyboard). The only keycap I didn't use was the spacebar because the MD770 uses custom lengths. They fit Cherry switches perfectly, have a very nice feel for typing and have a nice sound to them. I did add one O-ring to each keycap to make it sound more thocky, but that's just personal preference. The feel has a slightly rough texture which helps make your fingers feel like they aren't sliding around while typing. I got the red caps and with all the extra caps you're able to alternate colors for the F keys making it quick picking the one you want. Having a different color for the arrows also helps when you have a compressed keyboard (e.g. 75%). I had some pudding caps before this and my typing speed has increased with these caps. I don't know why, but I've gone from mid 70 WPM to low/mid 80 WPM. These keycaps are exceptional quality for the price (double shot PBT). The caps have an outer shell with a cutout for the character the key represents and then another shell inside that's a different color that fills in the character for the key. That means the symbol on the key will NEVER fade. I was considering buying a used mechanical keyboard and just swapping out the keycaps, but for a few dollars more you can get these, in the color you want and they're brand new. NOTE: These aren't transparent in any way so they aren't meant for RGB keyboards. Even though I have RGB, the MD770 doesn't shine it's RGB through the keycap, it's just around the base so it doesn't make sense to use keycaps with transparent legends on the keycap.

What can I say? I believe these are discount knock offs of the GMK "Red Samurai" key caps. For the $100 discount, they are pretty fantastic. I will add to the conversation that the review photos gave me pause. I was a bit worried as the (2 at the time of purchase) presented the colour as either pale or grossly saturated like lego pieces. I thought the product was just super inconsistent for the price but I was wrong! They look wonderful, they are rich and nice shades of red and yellow. But for some reason (I am not a photographer to be certain) it is really hard to get a photo where they look the same as they do to the eyes. I included one photo from natural light and one with the room lights so show how dramatically they change in photo but visually they look the same in both situations. I would say overall they look like the first photo on the product. Other than that, great! They feel very smooth and I am presently enjoying typing on them. Big recommend! I will likely buy another set from the same company before long.
