I really enjoy painting and wanted to start learning about gouache paints after seeing some beautiful artwork online. I got this set because of its relatively cheap price and recommendations artists had given it. When it arrived I immediately broke out all my materials so I could test the paints and make a swatch sheet. I didn't realise at the time of purchase but the set comes with three brushes and a palette, which was nice. The paints were easy to get ready and I had a very enjoyable afternoon painting with them and getting used to this medium. I had seen online that if you don't seal the lid properly, the paints crack up and it can be a pain to activate them again. However, I am yet to experience this issue as every time I open up the box the paints are perfectly ready to use. As I said earlier, this is my first set of gouache paints, however since then I have tried other brands. I can safely say these paints are the best quality of all the ones I've tried out. 100% recommend.

I was very disappointed with this gouache set. I purchased it expecting the original gouache quality, but the paints did not perform like gouache should. The colors are extremely transparent on paper and lack the opacity that gouache is known for. Even after layering, the coverage is still weak.

Sehr tolle Farben, sehr pigmentiert, gut mit Wasser vermischbar und gut schichtbar. Farben lassen sich mischen, aber so gut wie gar nicht blenden. Daher "beinahe" perfekt.
