Good compact juicer for daily use
I bought the Elite Gourmet EJX600 juicer because I was looking for a compact option that did not take up much space in the kitchen, and in general it has met my expectations. I like it to be cold press, since the juice feels more natural and preserves the flavor of fruits and vegetables better. It is quite easy to use and clean, which for me is a very important point. The parts are disassembled without complications and it does not take long to leave it ready for the next use. It also gives me peace of mind that it is made with BPA-free materials.

Compact and functional
I’ve been using this compact juice extractor for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very pleased. The design is perfect for space saving, quick and efficient, very easy to clean and affordable. Even when the feeding chute is small it is easy and fast to make the juice.

Easy & Compact, but not 100%
I have been making my own small batch of juices at home with my tea strainer, but wanted to make larger batches for my many Thanksgiving potluck gatherings, so I decided to get a juicer to save me time and energy. I read online that cold press juicers were the way to go and I didn’t have much counter space for a big machine, so this little guy was the best option for me. It was super easy to assemble, use, and clean, but I have to admit, there was a very tiny learning curve when I first got started. Initially, I was trying to rush the process too much by pressing my pineapple slices hard down the chute that I kept getting the system clogged. I learned that if you slowly let the machine crush the slices, then it won’t clog the system. Still need to apply a small amount of pressure to get the slices down, but don’t force it all into the blades immediately. Regardless, this has saved me tons of time and energy. This I’m very thankful for. The reason for deducting stars were because: (1) I read online that a cold press would prevent the juice from splitting as quickly as a non cold press, but it still split for me as quickly as when I made my juices through the tea strainer. So this item did not resolve that issue for me. Sorry, I don’t have a picture example of that to provide. (2) This juicer also did not remove the fibers 100% from the end product. Please see photos. Out of curiosity, I used the juicer and then ran the end product through my tea strainer and found fibers still within the end product. Honestly, it’s not THAT much fiber, but it’s still there, which was disappointing. Conclusion: It’s a great little juicer to save you time, energy, and space. However, I can’t see how this is any better than a centrifugal juicer or even if I were hand juicing through my tea strainer or a cheese cloth.

Great little juicer
I’m absolutely tickled and ecstatic that someone thought to make a juicer this small so it could be easier to bring when traveling. I got it for that purpose, but also for making personal juices when not making larger portions for my family. Because it’s so small, it is 70 RPM (rotation per minute) vs a much more expensive slow masticating juicer that can have 40 RPM (meaning more juice every time you run the veggies/fruits through). Note that the higher the RPMs, the higher the oxidation, which some say compromises the nutritional value, but honestly having this little thing and juicing while traveling is much healthier than not juicing at all. (Side note: If you’re not juicing organic, make sure to wash your veggies well; warm water and baking soda soak/wash is one way.) The irony of this is, I got it to save time when making my personal juices (not having to use/wash my larger expensive juicer), but since it’s so small you do need to run the pulp through 2-3 more times if you want to get the most yield (since the RPM is high—food literally goes through the small crusher in a second and it’s out, so not much squeezing time). Having to run the pulp through takes more time. You don’t HAVE to run the pulp through again but it’s not a dry pulp at first try and with produce being expensive, it makes sense to want the most juice you can get. I still like this little thing; it’s surprisingly powerful and well made for its size. I love that everything comes apart easily for cleaning and there are no places stuff can get caught in “forever.” So it’s nice to know that thought was put into the design. If you’re planning to juice a lot or have a family who will drink juice too while traveling, perhaps the larger Shine Kitchen Co. by Tribest SJV-107-A Slow Juicer is better for you. If you juice regularly at home and drink larger portions—don’t waste time getting a teeny juicer like this—best to invest in a good quality slow masticating juicer with a lower RPM (more yield, more nutrients retained, easier). I like the Omega VSJ848 and the Nama J2 cold press slow masticating juicers; I learned about them through the YouTube channels Okraw and Discount Juicers. Happy little purchase and would be a nice gift.

So we are a family of 3 and for us its good enough. It is very easy to clean if you do it after the juice has been extracted. We just run water on each piece and use the included brush to quickly remove any residue. So far we have use it with apples, carrots, celery, turmeric, lemons, oranges, pineapple and ginger and works great. We are satisfied with it and also its very easy to store as its not mega bulky or huge. each of us takes a 220 ml glass of juice like 2 or 3 times in a week. We have tried to pass the leftovers again but it doesnt extract really anything else so looks like its has enough power. Overall I can recommend it if you are into something small yet strongh enough to make you a nice juice. Btw we pass first the carrots and celery and then we put those into a bag and then into the freezer to make some carrot cake or carrot and pumpkin soup.

Initially this juicer worked ok for about 2-3 times. After that when I tried to use it, the motor was little weak and was stopping. I tried to press the reverse button to see if anything clogged. Then the motor started and I tried to use in again, suddenly the motor stopped and I couldn't use it. I waited for quite a while and started again. It worked like the motor is very weak and again it stopped. I tried to contact the manufacturer since the return from Amazon was over. The manufacturer said they won't be able to do anything since the product is sold in Canada and by Amazon. So, I concluded that if you are buying this product from Amazon, just try to use it everyday and if ever you have an issue with the product, return it to Amazon before its return window close on you because the manufacturer will not take any responsibility for that OR stay away from this product & try to buy some good brand which will last long and where you have a good return policy or warranty, stores like Costco, etc.

No funciona. Llego sucio y mal empacado, como si alguien más ya lo hubiera usado. Y no enciende.
