It’s very simple and works great.
I’m willing to bet everyone that has trouble with this doesn’t read the literature. I set mine up with it laying on my optima battery. Set the rpms 1 time. Tach verified it about 15 minutes later after I put it in an Accel HEI. Noticed immediately the change. It’s alot like the street fire MSD box. Not quite a 6al of course. But it’s real good. And for $100 can’t beat that

Works exactly as described
Cold starts are improved, idle has cleaned up a tad. The inclusion of a rev limiter is fantastic. It does take some effort to setup, however if you miss a gear, or your auto takes a dump you will want a rev limiter. Other reviews have stated failures after a relatively short amount of time. I will update this review if that is the case for me. I followed the installation instructions to the letter. Thermal grease was applied after cleaning the area inside the distributor.

Read directions on setting rev limiter not just bolt In and go or it wont work
Easy to install, took a couple times to get the limiter set where I wanted it. I like it is a random misfire style

Starts much better than beforei
Installed on a sbc 350 with a mild cam, idles a bit better now but really starts w/o cranking much, like it

Missing necessary item
The module may be fine, but I can't install it yet because it did not arrive with the heat transfer paste that is supposed to be included. It only takes a small amount but I can't find it locally and it's going to end up costing an extra 10-15 dollars to get it.
