I used to swear by Maybelline's super stay matte ink. I tried, but could never find anything that would hold up like that formula. Until now! Someone I follow on Instagram mentioned using this as her go-to black liquid lip, and I've always loved how it looked on her.I needed a nice deep brown for a costume, so I decided to give it a go. I am completely sold on this brand! I actually think it has a better wear life than Maybelline! It's a bit pricier, so I won't be completely replacing my current Maybelline colors just yet, but I am here to tell you that the price is well worth it if you can afford $20 for a lipstick.The packaging is lovely, it's beautiful and feels really nice in your hand. The formula is definitely a bit tacky or sticky, which is normal for a long wear matte liquid lip, but it's actually not as bad as Maybelline's. Once it dries down, I top it with the Covergirl stay all day something something lip balm. I can't remember the real name, but it's a clear balm that's meant to go over long wear lip colors. The combination is unbeatable! I'm able to wear this lip all day with no discomfort and very little loss of color. I do occasionally need to reapply the insides of my lips, especially after eating something on the greasier side, but generally it stays pretty well. I am 100% obsessed with this brand now!

Color is a bit light but it lasts all day even through eating

Goes on smoothly, and lasts long. Doesn't feel too sticky like some other long lasting lipsticks

Best black lip I’ve tried in years!

A friend recommended this to me and I just can't handle how drying it is. I exfoliated my lips, applied burts bees, only 1 even coat and it is still a dry flaky mess. I have chronic dehydration issues so I just don't think this is the right one for me. Might be better suited to a more humid climate too.

Long lasting and good color.

I was suggested this by other alt/goth moms and it's definitely the best black lipstick/liquid lipstick I have ever owned! It stayed on through EVERYTHING. It only came off when I used makeup remover. I love this and will continue to use it 🖤

This lipstick has no scent. It's very pigmented, drys within a minute and once dried has next to no transfer

Love love love these! I bought Mon Cheri and Cranberry Stilleto. And they are absolutely fantastic, I am typically a nude glossy lip girl but these have converted me to red! Mon Cheri is a really bright blue based red and Cranberry Stiletto is its darker sister more suited for autumn, both are gorgeous.These whips last alllllllllllllll day with absolutely no transfer, no crumbling and no flaking. As a gloss wearer it’s been so nice not to have to worry about reapplication like I usually do. Also I do not find them overly drying like other liquid lipsticks.For all my fellow dark skin women out there try these two colours paired with MACs nighmoth lipliner for a gorgeous ombré lip. Looks insane.

I have bought this item previously and personally love it. You put it on and it stays put all day just be careful on applying. One swipe on and let it dry. Yes it can be difficult to remove all you need is an oil based remover and it goes also use lip balm after removal. If like me you still want to wear makeup and masks it is great

Beauty Bakerie Lip Whips are actually as long-lasting as they claim to be. In the world of lipsticks this is nothing short of a miracle. Since I've discovered them I have not bought any other brand. The "Honey" colour is very flattering if you are fair-coloured or just prefer something understated.

I got Mon Cheri and the colour is really vibrant but most importantly when it's dry, it doesn't budge or smudge. You can eat and drink and it stays put. It may seem pricey but it will last ages. Top marks!
