Car Sound Deadening Mat, 197 Mil 8.7 sqft Sound Deadener

Nice, cost effective material. It stuck nicely to the door and was fairly easy to use. The grid marks on the back made it easy to cut. I would not rank it up with other materials in sound and heat isolation, but it did cut down the overall vibrations on the door panels and I did not feel heat immediately from the floor area as i did with bare metal. If you are working with a budget and want modest improvement, this material will work well over most stock materials.

I bought this on a whim to go with some Kilmat sound deadener. It is not thick, but definitely made the truck even quieter. The Kilmat takes out the vibrations and resonating noise, the foam takes out the echo you might say.

Used this in a speaker box build and it definetly worked well, significant difference in vibration. Very much worth the money. Only downside I could see is with how sticky the material is, the foam likes to stay stuck to whatever it touches which in reality is a good thing. Tried cutting with a utility knife but maybe there’s a better tool that would have made it easier to cut

Always good, big deadening sheets,very easy to peel,set up made the sound way better knowing is thicker than other ones , specially if making your own speaker box works perfect

Not exactly sound deadening but rather foam, good cutting. Not sure about heat isolation.

For $14 for 8.7 square feet, this was more than enough to cover the important parts of the trunk of my 944. You DON'T need a roller to apply this, just strong hands and a well prepped surface. I vacuumed, lightly washed, then used 90% alcohol to clean the surface before applying. I could have used more and covered every inch, but there is diminishing returns in doing so (especially on a budget, or with a lower wattage sound system in my opinion). If this stuck as well as it did for me in a 45° garage, then it should stick just fine for you too. I will say, it is a little cheap feeling, but for the price I can't complain. There is an audible difference when knocking on the panels this material is applied to. I'm not a professional though, and if you're an audiophile, there are better options (but prepare to empty your wallet). Not sure I would do an entire vehicle with this material, but it is a great supplement.

Excellent product. Strong adhesive and foam cover with silver aluminum barrier. Easy to handle and install. Cuts with razor type cutter without problems. Has inch measurements on paper side to help with fitting. Good value for cost.

Once they are stuck they are there for keeps. Great valve

Very sticky. So far it absorbs loud noises in the car very well. Thought I wouldn’t have enough sheets but I actually have one left over.

It's actually a pretty good sound absorber and vibration absorber for its thickness It sticks well it peels well You might want to order two packs I found this stuff easier to use than anything else when it came to stuffing small areas in the car because if it's flexibility and ran out of it faster than I expected

The sound deadening works okay but not as well as I expected. It does reduce some road noise and vibration, but the difference isn’t dramatic. The material feels decent in quality, though it’s a bit thinner than I thought it would be. Thinner means I need to pad it bigger in order to avoid noise and vibration. The adhesive is last a few but will consider putting something to it to last longer.
