I've tried a wide variety of hair removal creams and specialty razors, and I have been consistently disappointed with the results. I have very thick and coarse hair. Usually the best case scenario with hair removal creams is that it thins the hair out a little bit to make the shaving easier. But then razors don't give me a smooth shave, and even when I get it as close as I can, I end up with my skin worn down and bloody. This powder was very cheap, so I figured I had nothing to lose in trying something new. I considered buying the maximum strength variety, but figured it was safer to go with the original formula for my first experience. The results were amazing! This actually REMOVED my hair, the way it was advertised! My skin was smooth! I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but after I let the hair grow back and tried it again the results were the same! I'm thrilled with this stuff and will be a repeat customer. Does it smell bad? Yes, but actually less than the competitors. Does it sting a little? Yes, but again, less than the competitors. Overall, it is cheaper, smells better, hurts less, and actually works the way it is supposed to! Without a doubt, this is better than other hair removal products.

After reading the other reviews, I learned one thing: Do a patch test like the can says. Seriously. Do a patch test. If the patch test is fine, you still need to wait the full 24 hours before using the powder again. As for my own experience, the Regular Strength formula smells a little sulfuric, but it's not as horrific as people are saying. Everyone who says the stench is unbearable seems to have bought the Extra Strength shaving powder. And it works! It removed about 95% of my hair, which is enough that I'm fine with waiting the full day before another use (as directed). It was a little messy to wipe off the prepared shaving powder, so I'd recommend timing it so you can jump in the shower afterwards. It didn't stain my bathtub (my tub is fiberglass, not porcelain). Hot tip: don't add the full amount of water at first; it'll make it too runny to apply cleanly. Just add the water little by little until you get a spreadable toothpaste consistency.

This works much better than the cream but it dies have a strong smell.

This is for all my ladies that need help with hair removal in the bikini or armpit area. I gotta tell you, this stuff smells like the sulfur in the hot springs, but the awful smell is worth it I promise. I add water to about a tablespoon of powder to form a paste then apply to the hair removal area. I let it sit for five minutes then wipe it off in the shower. All hair magically disappears! I have pretty sensitive skin, but have never had issues with chemical burns or pain. This stuff works better for me in the bikini area than the pits, probably because leftover deodorant lowers the effectiveness of this stuff.

Let me start by saying I’ve been shaving my head every other day for a few year with no problem. I was just looking for something easier that didn’t require constantly purchasing over priced razors. I first tested this on a small spot on my arm, and another on the edge of my neck where my skins the most sensitive. No issues, and the hair arm removal was great, the neck worked but not as closely. Next evening I tried my head (which had been shaved 2 days prior. Followed every direction. I kept it moist with a spray bottle when it started to dry. I don’t have sensitive skin on my scalp. Never had a bump, ingrown hair, razor burn, etc. so I left it on there 3 extra minutes. Removed it, and it worked, but not as close as a shave as I can get with my razor. I didn’t have that fresh shaved look, more like the day after a shave look. Maybe this works for some, but I’ll keep my closer razor shave.

Now I know that this is for men’s beard but I (a woman) use this for my whole body. I recommend being careful when using for the first time but this whole can is so worth the price. I am able to use multiple times and I get the softest skin after using. The only downside is the smell, smells like rotten eggs but I make sure I have a room spray on deck 😫.

OMG!! I am so utterly surprised!! So I'm a guy who wanted to make his downtown area as smooth as a baby's bottom. A deforestation around the tree trunk so to speak lol. The ladies call it the bikini area. I've been researching off and on for sometime how to do this. Laser, waxing, shaving, etc. Then I found this product WHICH IS NOT MEANT FOR PUBIC HAIR REMOVAL. So just because it worked for me does not mean you should do it. I'm simply sharing my experience. You should follow recommendations on the product container. Anyway so I was scared to death that I was gonna burn my parts but I went for it. two heaping teaspoons of the powder mixed with the same amount but slightly less of water. I mixed with plastic spoon in a ceramic bowl. It was slightly runny, not quite pasty because if it is slightly runny then it will not dry out as fast. (HAVE A SPRAY BOTTLE OF WATER TO KEEP MOIST ON SKIN). I left it on for 7 minutes then started scraping the hair away with a cleaned but old credit card. I accidentally got some of the stuff half way up my "tree" (very scary) but even that didn't burn. I just couldn't believe how well this stuff worked. I never liked the idea of shaving so now I don't have too. I only used water to clean before and after. They say don't use soaps. apparently you don't want any perfumes or chemicals in the area. I simply applied with my fingers without a glove. I don't see any problems at all so I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!

I'm a white female with dark coarse hair and sensitive skin (razor burn and ingrown hair!!) Veet burns, and given the current covid-19 I cannot get a wax so I heard about this and thought... Let's try it! I had last shaved 3 weeks prior so my leg hair was pretty long! I mixed 2 heaped tablespoons, adding water a little at a time until I got a yoghurt like consistency, then using a shaving brush, applied it over both full legs (I'm 5'10) and my bikini area, set the timer for 8 minutes, then hopped in the shower and rubbed it off using a flannel. 99.9% of the hair fell off (I am especially impressed with my bikini area!) There was a few hairs which didn't go but I noticed some of them continued to come off during the day, and the rest I ran over with my epilator. Now... The smell... At first I thought "huh, not to bad" .. but it gets worse, and it LINGERS... Rotten eggs.... I applied it with the window open, and it didn't help. However I've found that if you soak the items used to apply this stuff with household bleach, that kills the smell, but I didn't do this quick enough, so next time as I'm waiting for it to work it's magic I'm going to wash everything in bleach! Summary; fabulous at removing hair, I have no rash/itching/bumps. The smell is horrendous, but for 2 heaped tablespoons to do both legs and bikini with no effects I'm prepared to suffer through it. I'll update on how long it takes my hair to grow back Edit: it has taken 8 days for the stubble to grow enough to be visible, but no itching or ingrown hairs and it feels a bit softer than the stubble I normally get from shaving

The smell is rancid and incredibly foul. But the product does work, simply add water and apply to skin. Helps if the hair length is on the shorter side! Downside, it is quite messy. When it dries and cracks it crumbles all over leaving a fine dust. Beware.
