I love this lunchbox! I purchased it for myself as I am adult who loves sharks and there are not so many fun adult options. It works perfectly for packing my lunches and carries just enough. It also has a neat little separator container for a larger variety of items packed. There is also room for extra things in the matching lunch bag which I also purchased. People have stated concerns with the weight of this little box. Well, it’s stainless steel, it has a bit of heft but it’s not bad. Besides, have you seen how some of these kids pack their backpacks!? This lunchbox is the least of worry! ;) Other reviews speak of the quality being bad and the graphic peeling off in the dishwasher. While it does say it’s dishwasher safe it mentions “top shelf” dishwasher safe. The product will hold up in the dishwasher but I do not believe this is as true for the graphic on the lid. Under water pressure and heat it will peel over time. With that in mind, I hand wash it. It’s easy to clean. The only drawback I had purchasing this box was the price. While $59 is hefty, it is stainless steel and of a good quality, which should last. It has a warranty so if it has issues, utilize it. However, you can’t use the box as a hockey puck, hammer, or just be plain careless and expect coverage. It’s warranty for defect, not insurance. One point of confusion is the box states a 5 year warranty and the care pamphlet says it has a two year warranty. If you do have any issues I would suggest getting clarification on that from Bentgo. If you want a fun, stylish and easy option for lunch for your kids or yourself give it a go!!I love mine!

Love this little lunchbox. Very sturdy and looks great after 1 year of use. Easy to clean and I love how it does hold onto smells. Compartments makes it easy to pack different levels of wet and dry foods witbout needing a mlion tupperwares. Definitely recommend. My three year old needs a little help with closing it.

I have gone through FOUR different stainless steel containers. All which have broke instantly and had a non existent seal, or one that wasn’t even shipped. At first I thought the price for this lunch box was insane, but because I already went through four I figured I might as well throw in the price of two of those to find one solid lunch box for my son, and I did. The seal on this lunch box is actually incredible. I attached a video to show that it truly is leak proof, and maybe the very slightest bit of water fell out but it was so minuscule compared to the other containers I bought. The only thing I don’t like is the metal clasps in the back. I’m scared it might break as it’s flimsy. If it does I will update this review. Overall, this product is amazing and I wish I found it the first time. The other four containers didn’t look fun either as this one does so my son didn’t think it was his when he first used them. But this one when he seen it he immediately knew it was his and was so excited to use it for school.

While it handles thicker foods well, very liquid items should still be packed separately to avoid leaks. The dinosaur print started to peel in the dishwasher This is best for school-aged kids who bring structured lunches and parents looking for a more durable, eco-friendly option. Those needing a fully leak-proof box for soups may want a different style. Tip: Let the lid air-dry fully after washing to keep the seal working properly. Overall, this lunch box has held up well with regular use and makes packing lunches straightforward and organized. It feels thoughtfully designed and practical for everyday school routines. I was very excited to receive this product, after searching and reading for hours this was a brand that offered verified quality and safety, the first disappointment was when I took it out of the packaging, the size is so big that it wouldn't even fit in a lunchbox and extremely heavy for a little one in kindergarten, also a little complicated to open because the silicone compacts with the aluminum so you need to apply a lot of force to release it, and it is also complicated to close because you have to make sure you raise the lid before lowering it, too much for small children, the worst thing is that I paid $ 60 for this lunchbox and I received something that looks used, it is stained and although it is said to be stainless steel it has rust marks, really disappointed, I am returning it.

Finally found the perfect lunchbox for my kid. Stainless is the way to go! I love the Bento Brand have always purchased their plastic style boxes until now. Better for your health especially for your kid. I will say filled or not this stainless steel has a little wight to it. My daughter barely carries anything in her school backpack when I place this it does make it a tad heavy. Definitely leak proof seals tight and even keeps the food a tad warm until lunch time. I love the squares but the fit is bigger than their original plastic lunchboxes. As long as you wash right away smell shouldn't be a problem - my daughter did forget once over the weekend but even then just the food residue smelled didn't effect anything else. Girly colors and easy to use 10/10 recommend!

The hinge on the back came detached after less than one year of gentle use. Overall it’s still in good shape but this makes the lunch box unusable- not what I’d expected in a product of this price/alleged caliber. I’ve reached out to them and will update if the company does anything about it.

Clean separation of food. Good material. Super heavy. Since the lid is attached to the box, dishwasher loading is inefficient. Not practical for daily use.

The stainless steel part of the received product has a large scratch, and the outer packaging box is also severely damaged. It appears that a returned item was sent out again. This product is not in a sellable condition and will be discarded. Replacement option is not exhist so need to return and buy again.

Excelente calidad, buen tamaño y división de los compartimento. Es de acero inoxidable, no es tan grueso así que la pura lonchera no mantiene mucho tiempo el calor, por eso venden la bolsa térmica. Pero para lo que yo necesito está súper bien, cumple su función. Las porciones son suficientes, para niños entre los 6 y 8 años muy bien. Las volvería a comprar. La calidad es muy buena.

What a great lunch box! Almost indestructible. The closures were a bit stiff at first but work in very well. Good investment.
