we used it when we went camping with our golden doodle and it's perfect for him to be chained around the camp ground!! he didn't like it at first cause it's quite heavy but he got used to it. it's just funny how they tripped on it all the time and get tangled. he did try chewing it but it's literally metal once he bit thru the plastic so he can't break it, literally.

I had bought 2 tie outs for my 2 chihuahua's and didn't think of the weight of the chain/clip and they were way too heavy so I ordered 2 of these and they are perfect! My 2 love it sit in the sun so I can sit on the porch and they can run around a little in the yard (25 ft) and the cable makes them very sturdy and the clips are smaller and way less heavy

Good lightweight tie-out for the price, lasts about 6 months, broke due to rust. I think this is unavoidable since I had mine outside for two seasons. I will buy again because it's great to let my small dog out to run around with the safety and limit of the tether. Would be nice to see more protection from rust at connection points and a stronger clasp release buttons as those broke too but the clasp itself stayed closed since the springs were strong enough to stay closed. One day my dog tugged a little hard and the tie-out broke at the connection point at the green connector. I bought two, one for front & one for back yards.... the second is still working well. Maybe the other was a dud? All in all, I'd buy again. My dog is happy to run around safe and contained in a non-fenced yard.

Clasps tend to rust and not function smoothly after a few weeks exposed to the weather. I would recommend to either lubricate the clasps or change them if they are to be exposed to weather.

Great quality

Works great. I have a lab and he barks and pulls when people walk by our house. I get the 40ft and works great no problems. After several months the latch to open to put on his collar gets tough to open That’s the only issue but it does stay out in the elements 24/7.

It works for about 2 months before it breaks on my out door husky. Granted I have purchased about 6 of these over the last 4 years. It does tangle or get wrapped around it self but it does hold. Usually it starts to rust then the more my husky moves and pulls it eventually snaps. The soil I have is pure red dirt. It's most definitely chew proof as my husky is about 12 years old or older.

The coating on the wire is handy in case your bet tries to clothesline you with it.... :-)So far it's fairing well with my lab/pit mix puppy.

So far works great. I have only had a few weeks though but still holding up well. I have a 90+ pound LSG dog with an incredible pull force and this keeps him safely on our property when in the front yard.
