It sounds so cliché, but it really is the best nail file. I've been using glass files for the past few years and got curious after someone recommended this one. Wish I'd gotten it sooner! The Moonfile is great for multiple reasons: 1. It smooths the top and bottom sides of the nail edge so nothing snags or needs to be adjusted. 2. The sides can be used as a regular nail file to get at sharp little edges near the cuticle, so you only need one nail file. 3. It works on vertical nail ridges and smooths/seals them instead of leaving them open and snaggy, which is an issue I was having with other files, glass included. I'm not sure why it works differently, but I'm so happy to have found it. I would recommend it based on how it works with nail ridges alone, because they're a huge pain. Be aware that there is a bit of a learning curve. It's pressure-based, so when I was first using it I was pressing too hard and my edges were uneven. A light touch will get the shaping you need.

I love the shape and design of this nail file. I have always had issues trying to shape my nails, with this product it’s a breeze and takes very little time. It seemed a bit pricey, but I decided to give it a try. It was money well spent and I highly recommend it!! I will be purchasing more for Christmas presents this year.

Love this nail file. I love that I can slide my nails inside the groove and accomplish more filing with less effort and it seems more even to me. I especially love the case since that keeps the purse clean. I purchased two and may consider more. One in the purse, one in a little nail care kit by the "TV watching chair" and I'd like maybe 2 more so I'm not always hunting them down! I travel with one along with a very small pair of Swiss nail clippers. Very compact. All that I need.

I like the curved shape, and the flat sides can also be used. This leaves my nails feeling smooth and hard. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that it is really only a finishing tool. If I have more than a tiny amount to file, or an uneven edge to fix, I find it quite easy to address with a more conventional file but hard to get right with this one, and once you've filed it down incorrectly, you have less to work with to fix that. I recommend a conventional file for the "rough" work, and this for finishing only.

Really didn't know what to expect. Was shopping for a glass file, and came across this. Reviews sounded great, and the file did not disappoint. Glass files can be a pain due to how thick they are, but these have a concave surface on the inside of the curve. It's virtually taken over all my finger nail trimming work away from the clippers. I really didn't expect this.

Good design works perfect

I love my Moonfile that I got a couple of years ago. The two new ones I bought both have issues. First, I was only sent one when I ordered two, so I had to get another one sent. One was textured on the handle area, and the other was missing some texture in the area that you put your nail. I have several GERMANIKURE nail files, all that I have no issues with, so this was very surprising to have two with issues.
