Let's just address the elephant in the room. My family says I am cheap, but I call it thrifty. Either way, I bought a couple of cork screws earlier that left like they would break at any moment when pushing down the arms, and after a few bottles, one arm did bend. So this time, i paid attention to the reviews and chose these cork screws as the review said they are solid quality. The review was correct. This design is pretty fool proof and easy for anyone to use. You do not need super human strength to pull the cork. Just remove the foil, screw the sharp coil into the cork until the arms have reached the top of their range, the place the bottle on a hard surface and push both arms down. Easy peasy. The bad openers I mentioned earlier did not have anything on the opener arms and the metal was thin. It did not provide a good feel. These cork screws have thicker arms and have a rubber grip on them which provides a much more comfortable operation. I would definitely recommend these cork screws for quality and value.

I like a manually functioning wine bottle opener. This one is smooth and easy to use and I didn't feel like I would cut my finger when removing the cork from the opener. Would definitely recommend!

This is a solid backup wine opener. Pros: it’s inexpensive, small (fits easily into the drawer or easy to throw into a bag), good grip on the handles, feels decently sturdy, is effective in removing corks from wine bottles. Cons: it requires some elbow grease to actually remove the cork (not effortless like a rabbit but way easier than other cheap options), hard to tell how long it will lasts (feels somewhat sturdy but not bulletproof). If you drink a decent amount of wine, it’s worth it to have this as backup in case your nicer wine opener breaks.

Easy wine key for at home use. The handles make this product extremely easy to open up a bottle of wine with a stuck cork. Screw and material quality are wonderful, made of a heavy duty metal - yet light weight in the same time. Screw is sharp and digs into cork easily. A great wine opener for those who are beginners to opening a bottle, or those that cannot use a wine key itself.

The wine opener works just fine. I had one like this before but it was difficult to get the cork out. This one is much easier and it also looks good as well. The handles add a nice touch.

좋아요 코르크 꼽는 부분이 굉장히 뾰족해서 다칠 위험이 좀 있지만 또 그래서 잘 꼽히고 개봉하기 편해서 좋습니다. I'm satisfied with the product. Although the sharp point requires some caution, it penetrates the cork effortlessly, making the opening process very convenient.

Not as heavy and substantial as I was expecting. Good price point though
