Designer Hospital Delivery Gown Maternity/Birthing/Labor

Let me start by saying that I'm a nurse and knowing how many times a gown has been used and what happens in them made buying my own delivery gown a must! Not to mention the gowns provided at the hospital get very ratty, are often missing some of the snaps and ties, and don't stay closed in the back very well even when tied properly. This product arrived promptly as do all of my prime orders. The material is light and soft after washing with liquid detergent and fabric softener. The snap closures at both shoulders provide for easy access for skin to skin and nursing. The back snap closures have a flap of material underneath that is wide enough to keep you covered should the gown stretch while moving and it's plenty long. I'm 5'7" and it easily reaches my knees. Also the side pockets are a welcome addition and are nice and deep. That being said I think I accidentally sized up, based off reviews I read on another gown, and ordered a L/XL. I definitely did not need to! I was a size 6 pre-pregnancy. My belly circumference right now at 36 weeks is 42in and I probably have a good 16in of material to spare in this gown. Needless to say I'm swimming in it. I opted for 'fits as expected' in my review because, had I ordered the correct size, I think it would have. However my husband already washed it for me, not knowing I hadn't tried it on yet so I'll be wearing it anyway.

Love! Love! Love! It was comfortable, stylish, and practical. Great for my recovery from c-section and absolutely made my hospital stay better. Awesome pockets and nice material. So convenient for nursing and I'm still wearing it a week later at home. No regrets. I went with the large and I am normally a size 10 and it was fantastic fit for me. So many compliments from nurses and guests. I think that I would like to give it as a shower gift, too.

Super cute!!! I loved this and am so happy I ordered it. I wore it the morning after my delivery and if it so many compliments on it. The buttons made is so easy to nurse and have skin on skin contact with baby. I was able to pop baby right in and keep warm with the gown itself and a blanket over (see photo). It was so great for bonding. Also this gown was great for modesty like not having a tie in the back, good length, and not being exposed. I bought this in a size S/M first and when I put it on, it was tighter than I expected. I was a size 4 pre-pregnancy and I've only gained 20 lbs so far (I'm 27 weeks), but this was tight enough that the back of it pulled a bit when I put a small pillow in to account for the 3rd trimester size gain. I returned and got the L/XL and that has plenty of room. My advice would be, when in doubt...get the large! Better to have some extra room than worry about your butt hanging out. Love the pattern though! I'm not due until December, but it will be nice to have something fun for at the hospital.

I wore this after I had a c-section for the remainder of my stay at the hospital. The fabric breathed really well; it did not get hot or itchy and it was just fitted enough to feel feminine and not feel like I looked like Violet from Willy Wonka when she swelled up with fluid........ I like bright happy colors so this made me feel better about my rough appearance post-pardum. I also wore this for my hospital photo shoot with my baby. Will be hanging on to this for my next pregnancy. I'm pretty cheap, but I felt the price was worth it for this gown.

Very cute but way too small. I ordered the large/XL-- I was a size 12-14 pre pregnancy, and at 32 weeks I have gained 21 lbs.According to the chart, I should have been well within the size range, but when I put it on, it fit, but was already pulling a bit on the snaps in the back. If it was already fitting snug in the back now, there is no way it would fit me 8 weeks from now. Bummed, but sending back. Going to try ordering from another brand.

I tried this gown on upon arrival (over my normal clothing at 38 weeks pregnant) and it seemed to fit pretty good. I've washed it and packed it in my hospital bag. Ready to use it in less than 2 weeks! :)** This gown worked great in the hospital. I wore it on day #2 of my stay and it worked perfectly. A few of the nurses commented on how cute it was, and nursing was easy with the front snaps. I felt very comfortable in it with visitors in the room. I highly recommend this gown!

Bought this for the delivery of my 3rd child (and 3rd c-section). I didn't have any issues with the gown during the surgery and received tons of compliments! I ordered one size up based on reviews. I'm 5'4" and on delivery day weighed 170 lbs. The large/xl was perfect! I I really liked that I remained covered when walking the halls and when visitors came to see me. It helped me feel pretty postpartum since I wasn't in the standard hospital gown. It was very easy to unsnap for breastfeeding and snapping back up was easy as well. I even used it at home for the first couple of weeks as it was super comfy! Highly recommend this gown!
