Keeping the shoes fresh!
Is this the best use of plastic considering the desire to reduce the use of it? There is no mention that these are made from recycled materials. That ethical question aside, these balls can reside in your footwear when they're not in use. Give one a twist and they'll release a pungent jasmine fragrance to help neutralise any nasty niffs. If you leave the sphere open the fragrance will fill your footwear, it's very strong. To get the best longevity out of each sphere, I opened for a short time to let the fragrance flood out, then kept the balls in the shoes when not in use. The initial burst did a good job and the sealed balls keep them topped up. If they need another boost, rinse and repeat the process. They perform well, and are good value compared to a pack of odour eaters (single pair of shoes), although I'm big on pleasant smelling shoes, so I use both.

Runner's friends' friend
I am using these in my running shoes, where they are doing a good job of limiting nasty smells, replacing them with something that's mildly lemony. Some are easier to twist and open the vents in than others, which can make them tricky to set up.

Very useful and nice scent
These have been a great little find, and a really easy way to add scent to smelly trainers, or just to freshen up a cupboard or space. The design is really fresh and bright, and they are very easy to use as you just twist them to open and use them wherever you want to be fragranced. I've been using them in trainers and boots after walks and it just gives them a nice fresh scent which isn't too overpowering. I also have used them in my wardrobe where the scent is nice and I'm now adding one to a shed to get rid of the musty/wood smell. Just twist to close them up when you're done using them in that space! The colours are bright, the scent is really nice and these are a great little buy as they seem set to last for a good few months.

Golf ball sized. Lemon smelling.
These are not cloth as I expected but instead they are a hard ball with an opening/closing ring.I like how pretty they are with their little white flowers on the bright green. They are much smaller than imagined, I had thought they were pool ball size but they are about the size of golf balls. You put them where you want the scent to emanate and undo the ring to open the holes. The smell is quite nice, more lemony than flowery and not too intense. They are a bit like having a lemon based potpourri that can't spill. We are using these in the cupboard for our portable toilet in the camping van and I have left them in their compartmentalised box to stop them rolling about loose. The cupboard does have a vent to outside but it's nice to have an air freshener at times also. You can close the rings to close off the scent and make the balls last longer.Instead of this I will open every ball (6 all together) and slide the outer plastic sleeve back over them in the box, so when we want a boost of scent,I can unslide the sleeve to release it.It is possible to lever them open and there is a little wood looking ball inside so it ought to be possible to replenish the scent by re-saturating it once it has lost its potency. They don't have an actual hanging loop but it would be possible to hang them by threading through the edges of the ball where it joins together so you could hang them in a wardrobe or Gym locker with thin thread.Or you could use a mesh bag and hang them in that if you have oneThey don't have any flat edges for sticking to things or standing on non level surfaces. You could use 3 in each of a pair of shoes. They aren't designed to absorb smells, only to release their scent.I wouldn't use these in a small child's room due to their being able to be levered open (I think they could be bitten open ), as the inner ball would be a choking hazard.Don't let them come into contact with irritated skin or eyes.A pet could easily crunch one open and eat the innards.Good to give a more pleasant scent in certain situationsNo idea how long they will last.

A bit lady like in the smell and price a little expensive to make it a 5 star product
I wasn't really sure what to expect from these but they arrived in a fancy box and they seem to do the job temporarily.A quick twist to open up the smell holes and you can pop them wherever you like, such as a wardrobe or footwear. I have used these myself for my trainers, the smell is a bit feminine but its not too over poweringI am not sure how long they will last but so far so good. In terms of price, £9.99 is a bit steep and should be around the £5 mark but a solid 4 stars from this product.

Nice Scented Deodoriser Capsules
Very simple and work well for adding some fresh scents around the home.I wanted one for my wardrobe because spraying deodorant in there and closing the doors doesn't do much 😅 at least with these I can still smell the fresh scent days later.I put a few around the house as well for a change of scent instead of using the oil plug-in air freshener.£9.99 is a fair price for 6 fresheners at around £1.60 per ball.

Balls of freshness
A six pack of deodoriser balls. When used, these can make shoes, cars, gym bags, closets or lockers smell a fair bit fresher. The box of balls comes wrapped in clear plastic. So that has to be cut off and recycled. You then have to slide it open from the side, as it has a plastic cover over it. But that needs to stay there to keep them from falling out.The balls are four centimetres in diameter. They do smell nice from the off. They need to be twisted into a different position to work. But that is a simple twist of the top half which requires virtually no effort whatsoever.Once done, put them in any of the above listed objects or places. Leave for as long as you like. And there is a noticeable difference.A useful and nice smelling product. Good to have.

Works well
eliminates the odour of shoes very well, however I think they are a little pricey for a one use scent item.
