Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What I used this for: I used the Viair 88P portable air compressor with my Can-Am Maverick X3 to check tire pressure and refill tires after airing down for dune riding. First impressions: * Compact and easy to carry in the UTV * Feels well built and designed for off-road use * Simple setup with alligator clips and direct battery connection Ease of use: * Very straightforward to hook up and start using * Quick to check and adjust tire pressure on the trail or after riding * Easy enough to use even in sandy or dusty conditions Performance: * Works great for airing tires back up after dune riding * Handles up to 33” tires without issues on my X3 * Consistent airflow and reliable operation * Much faster than cheaper portable inflators I’ve used before Convenience: * Perfect size to store in the vehicle for every ride * Saves a lot of time after airing down for sand dunes * Very useful for dialing in tire pressure for different terrain Pros: ✔ Great for dune riding and off-road use ✔ Handles larger UTV tires up to 33” ✔ Easy to store and transport in the X3 ✔ Reliable and consistent performance Cons: ✖ Needs direct battery connection (not plug-and-play like some smaller inflators) Who this is for: Perfect for UTV and off-road riders who air down tires for sand or trail riding and need a dependable portable compressor for airing back up. Final verdict: This has been great for my Can-Am Maverick X3. It makes checking tire pressure and filling tires after dune riding simple, reliable, and much more convenient.

can't speak to long term durability but when I tried it out it worked well. I got the off road kit with carrying case which is convenient but it takes up a little room so you need a little space for storage if you are going to keep it in your vehicle

Good quality and moves air fast.

I use this pump prior to traveling with my airstream because it can pump up the 80 PSI that I need. It pumps in a short amount of time. I just wish you didn’t need to stand over it to know when to stop.

I really like this pump. It is a little slow and it does get hot!.. it also bounces all over the ground unless you hold onto it. I bought a 7 pin power supply that goes right to your truck and connects to the power supply of the pump! Everything is long enough to fill my rv tires with ease.

A reliable pump. I have tried battery operated pumps but none of those were reliable or lasted. Use this primarily for my motorcycle, probably not enough CFM to inflate a car tire in reasonable time. Great little pump, recommended.

Does what it is suppose to do. I think the rubber air cose could be updated to something a little more durable. It seems like it is soft and prone to tearing or cracking. (Time will tell). As others have metntioned, the compressor does get hot so be careful of wher you put your hand. It does a good job of filling a deflated trailer tire from zero 30psi in about two minutes or less. Be advised that the battery connector requires a 20 AMP fuse (included) but carry extras just in case. Mine blew out on the first use when I had it connected to a battery on my side x side. Fortunatley, I had a spare.

Good performance. Not very noisy. Pressure gage pretty accurate (+/- 1.5 psi). Power cable and air house has good length (can work on all 4 wheels without moving an air pump). Nice bag.

This pump is high quality in all regards. It's made of tough materials, pumps fast, and is ready to clip on to your battery for serious power (and to avoid blowing a fuse). You can even get an extension if you need more length. Speaking of length, there's a long length of hose to make life easier. Absolutely skookum and highly recommended.

Absolute garbage! I tested as soon as I got it. It was leaking internally and flattened my tire before I could remove the air line! Not worth the hype and not worth the money. I bought it as it was highly rated! If you don’t want to be stranded as I could have been, do not buy this product. I have returned it.

Very good quality……best on the market. I have had a Viair for years and I am purchasing a second one for another vehicle.

Pump has saved me and people around me multiple times. My family friends and I do a lot off roading, pump has aired up my trucks 35s and my rzrs 30s, air bags on my truck, tires on my trailer etc. Would buy again but haven't had any issues !
