Yes, the 2 dates alone amount to 12 grams of sugar. Not for diabetic or antiinflammatory diets. That's a whole days worth of sugar for me. Yet, it is all natural and dates have fiber and other nutrients too. Still so much better than a candy bar. I just wish they cut one date for the blueberry, which has 17(!) grams sugar. One less date and one more blueberry, I think would make it more level with the other flavors.

Is this the same flavor as what used to be called Coconut Cacao?

Yes! We recently changed the name from Coconut Cacao to Coconut Chocolate (it's much easier to pronounce!)
