Durable, secure, doesn't rattle, fits car well, doesn't obstruct view
This is the only car barrier that I found that works for my dogs. I still have to fasten them to seatbelts because they are stubborn huskies and will attempt to climb over it in the small gap between the barrier and the ceiling of my car. But overall, this has been the best at keeping my dogs in the back so they don't try to get under my feet looking for crumbs while I'm trying to drive. I will say that the only drawback is it's not super easy to put up and take down, so I leave it up in my car between the back seats and the trunk and I only have to take it down when I need to fold my seats down for whatever reason. So it's best used as something you leave up all the time rather that something you intend to remove frequently. But with all that being said, it's quite durable, it's adjustable so you can make it fit your car better (I have a Honda CRV 2016 and it fits perfectly), and I think it comes with a bungee cord or two, which helps keep it from rattling when you're on the highway or a bumpy road or whatever. I have my secured well enough that it doesn't move or make noise at all when I'm driving - I don't even notice it most of the time. also, because of the design, I feel like it's easy to see through it and it doesn't obstruct my view out of the back of my car at all. 10/10 would recommend if you have rowdy dogs that can't stay out of the front seats while you're trying to drive.

Kept our huskies safe and contained during our 10 hour roadtrip!
We recently went on a 10 hour drive up to the Blue Ridge mountains with our two huskies and Shepard mix. The huskies are not off leash trained so we wanted to make sure we had a secure spot in the back of the car for them to get in and out of during stops without us worrying about them escaping. This car divider was secure, easy to install and use, kept the dogs safe and contained so we had a stress free drive. I was able to attach portable fans to it to keep them cool and comfortable. Highly recommend

Great quality
I’ve had this barrier in my suv for four months now, and I have zero complaints. We have taken four roadtrips with our Saint Bernard who would climb over the seats if it wasn’t for this setup. Adjustable to fit larger or smaller trunks, easy to install and it serves as added protection for our kids in the backseat! Worth it even if you don’t travel with pets often, it makes for a good safety proof system.

Just meh - not horrible but the mounting system is very cheesy.
well after a few months of using these, I'm still torn. I got it to keep the dogs in one area of my new car because the one I had already wouldn't fit. The price was right so I grabbed it. On one hand it does keep the dogs where I want them to be - on the other hand, the mounting system is totally cheesy - pretty much you bungie cord it to the back of the seat. The cords come off, the thing falls over, and as its bungie cords, a few minutes of dedicated chewing would pretty much total the thing until you can buy more bungie cords. My older barrier had a much more permanent and stable mounting system. I'm not disgusted but also not thrilled by this product.

Installation is not hard, but better instructions are needed
I would have given it five stars for sturdiness and functionality, but I gave four stars because of the inadequate instructions. The instructions should include: The parts list should say for item 4: 2-piece round clamp x 4. Step 2. Lay the barrier on the floor. Step 3: - Arrange the three metal barrier pieces in the configuration and length desired. - Place half of each circular plastic clamp under the barrier, with slots up, in a position that will hold the barrier pieces securely. See first photo. - Press the metal bars into the slots on each clamp half onto the hinged part of the metal barrier. - Snap the other half of the clamps to the remaining two barrier pieces in positions to match the clamp halves fastened to the hinged part of the barrier. - Make sure all four slots on each clamp piece are secured to bars on the barrier piece. - Stand the barrier up, off the floor. - Place one barrier piece against the hinged barrier piece, so the clamp halves match up. - Insert a bolt (not a screw, as the instructions say) through the clamp (second photo), with the bolt head of the screw facing the cargo area where your dog will be. (This way, your dog cannot chew the tightening grip.) - From the opposite side of the barrier, place the second barrier piece in the desired position. - Press the clamp halves together. - Drop the NUT into the HEXAGONAL HOLE in the three-prong tightening grip. See third photo. - Turn the tightening grip to thread the nut onto the bolt; then hand tighten the clamp. Repeat for each clamp. - Use the two remaining clamp halves to fasten the third barrier piece in place. This might sound complicated, but it’s not hard if you know the proper sequence for fastening the clamps. (Retired technical writer here who used to write instructions.)
