Tower T611000P Cavaletto Metal Desk Fan with 3 Speed Settings, 12”, 35W, Marshmallow Pink and Rose Gold

The reviews on here are critical to making an informed decision, but sometimes I really despair with the hyperbolic claims people make. I looked at about 100 fans, meanwhile roasting in the heat wave. I kept coming back to this Tower fan because I liked the look, that it's a British brand, and seemed sturdy. But the reviews about how LOUD it is put me off. Finally I ordered it and it arrived yesterday. My husband put it together, so I can't speak to that facet, but it has a lovely retro look that suits our home. I like that it's mechanical with no fancy digital remote, etc. But most of all I want to say it is NOT LOUD. I wonder if these loud posters have ever owned a fan before?

I was absolutely blown away, excuse the pun 🤣 but this product is not only lovely and modern to look at and a lovely colour, the setting on just number one is very powerful and cooled down the whole room, it moves around lovely and doesn't make much noise either, arrived on time and was quick and easy to set up all you had to do was put the base on it which I done in less then a minute very happy thankyou

Powerful fan. You won't need speeds 2 and 3. It's not quiet but it's effective and does the job.

I opened the box and had a feeling it had been sent back before. Bags were off the parts but I persisted with assembling the fan. The screw holes didn’t line up to start off and it was difficult to put the fan together and it really should be easy. Once completed the fan only worked on the fastest setting. The low setting didn’t work at all and neither did the second setting. Only the third level worked which is fast and a bit noisy but if it worked on all three settings I would have definitely kept it as it looked good in my living room but for £40 I really want it to work as it was supposed to. So am returning and I am not likely to buy any TOWeR products again. Amazon assisted me with a refund which was easy to do.

The fan feels good quality, motor case made of metal and base. Number 1 setting is quite fast, and the fan is quite loud. I thought a more expensive fan would have a slower number 1 setting but no. Also, the plug cable is 1.5m which was just to short to reach the socket when placed on a high shelf, which seemed a bit stupid. Saying that pretty nice fan, all new ones are like this. Don't know why my fans bought in the 1990s seem so much better quality.

The fan delivers what it promises. Quiet, yet powerful. The color is beautiful, and assembly is easy. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I recommend the product.

Great strong fan for its size. Had to ask for replacement as the 1st one they sent was looking used as it had a dent on it and lots of scratches. Easily replaced by customer care.

First summer in the UK, bought this fan because my mother said Tower is good. I don't if the delivery guy threw it or other thing happened the fan came with tiny part of blade being slightly damaged. The shock absorption foam inside the package is shattered as well. I decided to flatten the damaged part a bit then assembled it. The fan is very loud on lowest setting. I'm typing this review with my normal headphone on listening to music and still hear the sound of it. I don't know what motor this fan is using but certainly not a good quality one. I used to live in Asia where I had fan made in Japan and it is super quiet with decent wind flow. Go for it if you don't care about noise. Avoid it if you're noise sensitive like me.
