Where can I get replacement tips for this device?

You can get replacement tips from various re-sellers, including Amazon. You would think they could answer questions about their own products. Anyway, try these but consider that 3 replacement tips will cost between 70 and 80% of the original cost of the pumps themselves. Also, if you do change the tips out try and save the original o-ring just in case the new ones don't  have them.

dont know, i have never filled one up. the common failure of these devices is caused by the tip usually deforms as it is exposed to heat after repeated use.

Is it all aluminium or is the thumb/trigger part plastic?

Tube between nozzle and blue plastic trigger track is aluminum.  Metal shaft and spring are metal.  Everything else is plastic.  The metal tube screws off so you can see the rod and spring.  The trigger is a black plastic in its own chamber, so maybe the actual snap inside is metal, but it snaps like a Bic pen.  So probably plastic.  Would attach a picture but Amazon only wants a video for some reason.
