Is this naturally fermented?

PQQ itself is not a fermented product -- it is a non-vitamin factor or compound which your body can produce from certain amino acids, and is found naturally in vegetables such as spinach, green peppers, parsley, celery and potatoes, as well as in fruits like kiwi and papaya. It can also be obtained from natto, which is a fermented soy product made with the beneficial bacterium Bacillus subtilis. The label of this product, however, states that it contains no soy or soy products.

Why does this product have calcium?

I can only guess why they added dicalcium phosphate. May be because it is anti-caking agent.

Is pure pqq a trademarked name for a patented ingredient? or is "pure" just a modifier for pqq?
