This siphon hose pump worked perfectly for transferring fuel from my John Deere zero-turn mower to a gas container. The hand pump primes quickly, and the clear hoses make it easy to monitor flow. The item works very well, easy to put together. One thing that could be done that would make this an even better tool, make the arrow on the pump a different color than the pump. On the design program and computer the arrow is probably very easy to see, real life out in the yard on a bright sunny day, not so easy to see.

So far it works good, the plastic holder is garbage, is useless I used it 10 times on gas to tank it does fine.

Works exactly as it should. Installed it under my garage sink leading from the sump to outside the window. Sinks fed by the garden hose and this siphon acts as the drain/plumbing (since there isnt any). My setup has 4tf lift and I only need to hand pump it 3 or 4 times before itll free flow until the sump is empty. The one way valve hasent gotten clogged yet even though there are fine solids. Zip tied a piece of window screen as a pre-filter for good measure. Hose is quite pliable as well. I expected it to be stiffer but what you get is much more workable. The clips seem to be a good touch. Snug fit and no leaks anywhere as of now. Yea, good little siphon.

Worked great. Had to drain my mother-in-laws gas tank on her car to replace a fuel pump. Put car up on jack stands and undid the large hose going to gas tank. The metal fill pipe prior to the large hose connecting the gas tank had a valve in it, right after a bend which makes putting a hose down from the fill up gas cap area impossible. Drained almost 17 gallons out. It's nice to have the brass end on the hose portion that goes in tank, you can hear it hit the tank bottom. Just a couple tips- I didn't put a clamp on to clamp brass piece on, it has barbs on it to hold it in hose. Besides, I was afraid a clamp might get caught on the tank inlet when removing the hose. Also, you can let it gravity feed or manually pump it as long as tank is higher than what you are pumping into. I alternated between the two, as my hands would get tired after pumping for awhile. Pumping it is a little faster. Worked as expected all in all.

First of all, the quality of the product is excellent, includes easy photo instructions too; it took me 5 minutes to assemble. The size of the siphon is good, too. The HASA liquid chlorine feeder I have has to be cleaned out periodically of salt that falls out of solution and deposits. Unfortunately, there is no drain plug on this model, which would have been a good idea, but it never leaks either. I was using my old aquarium vacuum to drain the water. It uses the shipon pump principle too, but it wasn't very efficient and always had to go check on it and give more pumpts to start it back up until the job was done. Well, it was cheaply made but it cost me a bundle (pet supplies). So I was on the hunt to find something on Amazon that I could use when I ran across this simple design, like my other one but made way better and for a third of the price; now that makes me happy given present times. I went outside to make a video of it siphoning, and it was already done, but I took a video anyway so you get the idea how this product has multi-purpose uses. I still have the vacuum attachment for the aquarium. I think I can attach to this pump and use it for that purpose too.

Initial use and observations are that it works for the intended purpose, however is very slow. The clip is pretty bad and comes loose too easily from the hose. The worst part is the instructions provided say the hose barb is "brass" when it is clearly not and cannot be used as a weight. It is ridiculously light to the point I am not sure if it's metal coated plastic or painted aluminum. A weight would be nice to help keep the hose on the bottom. The hose is a little thick and makes it difficult to keep on the bottom as it wants to curl back.

This is a well-engineered, well made product! I used the siphon pump to transfer the gasoline from a generator into a five gallon gas container, then used the pump again to transfer the gasoline from the five gallon gas container into my car. Super easy. No spillage. The pump comes with a very versatile clip on the drain line to secure the drain line to a variety of containers. The pump also comes with a weighted fitting to ensure that the intake line will will be low. This piece of equipment was a delight to use.

Worked well, placed one hose in dipstick hole and syphoned oil overfill from engine. Takes a bit to fill the hose but the oil started to pump out. Oil overfill light now gone from dash.

Product is very good. It works very efficiently. It is meant for fuel but i use it to drain excess water from my balcony garden area. One less star is only for the faulty product and used product delivered on my 2nd order. My mistake that I didn't check it and by the time I did, the window had closed. My 1st order still works perfect even after 2 years.
