LEPPI Tough Dog Teeth Cleaning Toys of Cotton Rope Dental Chew Giraffe, Yellow

I guess when I saw tough, I thought it would last longer than 10 minutes. She is in the process of destroying it and I really did just give it to her.....

My dog (as a puppy) used to have a toy lizard, but we upgraded to this huge giraffe for years. She refers to this toy as "lizzie" as we ask "where's lizzie?!?!?" and she goes to hunt down this toy. My dog suffers from epilepsy, so some ingredients (nylon, etc) trigger her seizures. I can say that this toy is overall pretty safe (cotton) so that there are no bad ingredients that trigger her symptoms. She's about 25 lbs and she takes a couple months to shred this toy to strings (aggressive chewer).

We have a small female pit bull mix who is definitely a power chewer. I thought this might hold up, but she had torn the ears and legs off within 10 minutes. She list interest after that because it no longer had protrusions and just looked like a regular old rope toy which she finds boring. It was cute when it arrived, though.

We have 2 small dogs. One is able to tear toys up with ease, this one was no exception. Within a matter of a week, I had to throw it away. He had shredded it and was separating the rope into small pieces trying to eat it. Great if your dog isn't a toy destroyer. I caution that the threads of rope, if swallowed, could be a problem and a trip to the vet.

My little Yorkie puppy loved Geoffrey the Giraffe for the first week, then started playing with her other toys. I tried several times to get her to play with it, but just doesn't like him anymore. With that being said, the integrity of the toy held up, with the exception of his eyes. Those were the first to go.

My dog chews they every toy in about 30 seconds. She either adores this giraffe so much that she won't kill it, or it really is too much trouble. Each section is individually knotted so when she does get thru a knot the whole thing doesn't unravel. It's been the best toy we've gotten for her so far. She loves it.

Not great for an aggressive chewer! I have an Australian Cattle Dog who is still a puppy and loves to chew. He annihilated this toy in less than an hour! Would be a great toy for a smaller breed or an older dog.

My 8 month old Labrador puppy loved her new Giraffe! Unfortunately, it lasted about 8 minutes before it was torn in half, and little Giraffe parts were every where! :( I don't recommend this toy, only because it does not last, :(
