LET'S TALK: HOW TO HAVE BETTER CONVERSATIONS

a valuable book on conversation
Never ever I thought conversation plays such an important role and hence thanks Nihal I realised how crucial it is to listen and ask questions rather than just talk. A very good book which created curiosity in me to dwell deeper into the art of conversation. Thanks Nihal.

Misleading Titel
I was very disappointed when I read the book. As I found the description and the headline very intriguing. Unfortunately, the book turned out to be a very self-centered book where the author writes basically just about him and the people he interviewed. A lot of fluff and not really profound facts.

The core content is good but…..
….. the author has written as he might speak which makes for a long-winded, hence boring read. Lots of repetition works well in conversation but makes for tedious reading.

Thought provoking
A very empathetic writer makes one question where we are heading in this digital age. Well worth reading

Captivating read
Nihal writes like he speaks. His words are so carefully chosen, they engage you and you feel like you have an action plan for how to be a better person when you've completed the book. Couldn't rush it much as I wanted to consume every word, I wanted to absorb the examples and try to apply them to situations I find myself in. This is such an important book right now, and I find that I need to heed many of these tips and process many of the questions raised. Naturally you don't agree with everything but you understand the logic and the argument is of course well made. Thoroughly enjoyable, thought provoking and like a bonus edition of his radio show. Have long thought Nihal was the best interviewer around, reeling me into listening to debates on subject areas I wouldn't normally think about with people I've not previously heard of, and this has just reaffirmed that belief. Thank you.
