This is a great conditioner. It’s expensive but it does help to deposit color. I wanted more of a purple and this is lavender and helps keep in the plum highlights but not the electric purple peek a boo highlights I had, that faded after 2 weeks. My hair is soft and manageable. The product came sealed.

A decent conditioner, but pastel purple does not deposit enough color. My hair is faded from a lavender color for context. It just made it more blue-gray. Kind of a waste of $18 if you ask me but my hair does feel good. I’m sure there are better depositing products out there but this would be fine to tone yellow hair.

My friend has used Overtone successfully on her naturally blonde hair. Maybe it depends on the color you get because her magenta made her hair look very nice! I ordered the pastel purple to go over two-day old highlighted (bright highlights) hair with indigo peekaboos. I thought adding pastel purple would look great with the indigo. It did NOTHING on any hair, including my white blonde pieces. If you’ve ever tried to use a drugstore conditioner with purple toner like Shimmering lights, it’s about the same quality. Looks somewhat pigmented in bottle, but doesn’t even stain my hands one bit. It was a big disappointment, especially for the price. The only good thing is the mint smell is very nice. I will be looking into other color-depositing conditioners. I did not upload photo of my hair because I didn’t want others thinking the indigo on my hair was a result of this product.

I dyed my hair purple and this conditioner makes my color last until my next appointment I love it!

The most recent bottles I've gotten are very hard to squeeze the product out of. It wasn't always like this. I've tried red, pink, and pastel purple. Red and pink are very vibrant. The pastel purple doesn't add much color at all. It functions better as a brass color corrector in my opinion.

Beautiful color

I am sending back. I have not seen any change in my hair color since trying this product. It was recommended to me and I just can't justify it.

I have used Overtone for years and I love it. This conditioner maintains my color.
