There's a lid shown in your pictures but it does not come with a lid?

YES, it DOES come with a lid! It used to not have the lid, but as of February 13th of 2019 the lid is INCLUDED! If anyone says they did not receive a lid, they purchased before that date.

Does the set with the plastic bucket and lid come with instructions for the other games besides Farkle and Yardzee?

How do i know what size of dice would be best for me?

We find that if you intend to play with younger children or elderly grandparents the 2.5in dice will be the better option. For older kids and adults the 3.5in option may be more suitable.

Can you store the dice in the bucket?

Yes. The bucket expands and you keep everything in there. I store the dice, game instructions, scorecards, and dry erase markers for scoring.
