So far so good. Stronger hair

Having just bought my 23d bottle, I thought it was time for a follow up review. Two years ago my dermatologist, while treating my hair loss, recommended Nutrafol as a supplement to the minoxidil and finasteride she had prescribed for me as part of a multifacet approach to address my hair loss. The Nutrafol was added late in the game but once I started I did notice my hair was fuller and healthier. My hair loss has been pretty much stopped but IF there is any new growth, its relatively fine "baby hair". I can attest that the Nutrafol is working when it comes to overall hair health. I did stop using it for about 8 weeks once and my hair did not look as good any more. I went back on it and my hair looked healthier and fuller again . It is expensive but a little cheaper now than when I first started. I have serious doubts as to what is claimed as to hair growth in their commercials but I do believe it has helped, along with the prescribed medication, keep what I have and not look as thin. If something is not FDA approved for treatment for hair loss that is because the products claims fail their testing as to the claims. I think I may move onto laser cap treatment approach as they are FDA approved. But for over all healthier hair and stopping hair loss I give Nutrafol five stars but cannot give it any stars for growth. So I have dropped my rating to four stars.

This product really works!

I've taken this product as instructed for over 8 months. It did absolutely nothing to slow down my rate of hair loss. The only thing I noticed was a decrease in my bank account balance from continuing to buy such an expensive and useless product. My advice, put the money towards a savings account to go to Turkey and get yourself some plugs. Don't waste your money like I did.

expensive and have had no noticeable results so far

I waited to write this review til I'd completed the initial 3 mos pack and was a couple weeks in to month 4. This order was for month's 4 and 5. It works, no question about it. Two caveats though: - first, I had what my hair guy said was "progressive thinning." In other words, my hair line was back almost 2 inches and when i got out of the shower it was all pink scalp as the dominant visual thing through my thinning hair. But I wasn't bald and didn't have a major bald spot per se. - second, I started Nutafol about 2 weeks after my hair guy had me buy the Nioxin scalp shampoo kit (level 2 for the more progressive thinning I had). I used that religiously and never missed a dose of my Nutrafol. With those caveats, it's hard to say enough good stuff about this. Within about 3 weeks the hair I had was stronger and thicker. Everyone in my life noticed. A bit passed the 3 month mark I started noticing actual new hair growth at my hairline. just wispy hairs here and there but it's clearly happening. I've also noticed that my beard hair is thicker, almost wiry, and new growth is, here and there not all over, back to its natural dark brown/black color. So while I cannot speak to the efficacy for more severe hairloss, I can say it's absolutely working for my previously aggressive thinning.
