This decaf tea accomplishes something no other decaf I have tasted can do. It almost perfectly matches the regular, non-decaffeinated version's flavor profile. So much so that it will likely make you ponder if it really is decaf. Most decaf brands taste almost nothing like their non-decaf version, so this is really remarkable. Consequently, no other decaf that I have tried even comes close to having as much flavor as the PG tips. And that includes several tins of loose leaf I have tried as well as many brands of bagged tea. This is by far the best decaf tea I have come across and, as a bonus, there is more tea in each of the pyramid bags than the typical tea bag. The combination of more flavor and more tea means you can use fewer bags to make a pitcher of ice tea, which greatly reduces the cost when calculated per pitcher versus per tea bag! It works great for hot tea as well, and is especially fine for sweet tea. I usually drink unsweetened tea, but both decaf and regular PG tips are complemented greatly with sweeteners. My most recent Amazon order was from seller British Delights and the package and product were fine. Sometimes Amazon sells this themselves but they seem to often not offer it. FYI- There is one low caffeine tea that I prefer to the PG tips (or like just as well, as the two taste great but offer flavor variety), but it is not decaf. It just uses tea varieties with less caffeine ( Swee-Touch-Nee Tea, Orange Pekoe (97.5% Caffeine Free), 24-Count Tea Bags (Pack of 12) ). You may want to give it a try but it is very hard to find, with availability on Amazon coming and going. Sometimes I have to wait a few weeks before it is offered again, and usually I have to buy it in a case of 12 boxes. But, wow, it may even be better than PG Tips, and I absolutely love PG Tips.

My favorite tea. It tastes so much better than the big American brands. Worth the extra cost.

Square tea bags, unwrapped, no strings. The box arrived rather mangled but the product is fine. I had been drinking Tetley recently as that was on the store shelf (no PG) and to me they seem similar. If both boxed were equally priced and at hand, I would go with PGT.

My box came completely torn up and taped back together.I have tea leaf dust on my other items. I’m afraid to drink it. I feel like I just waisted $20

I used "Rufus" to help me find the original bag shape which is a pyramid shape, "Rufus" gave me the link to this page, so I took the advice and purchased it, it is NOT pyramid shape bags, does it matter, yes, I was quite did a lot of research trying to find the best British tea, this was consistently ranked high....just disappointed that they don't disclose that this is the new FLAT tea bags and not the original pyramid shape. :(

Black tea is my favorite beverage, but a tremor has forced me to give up all caffeine. I've tried *many* decaf teas and this is the first one that tastes good to me, almost as good as my regular PG Tips.

First of all Amazon, when someone orders tea, don't put it in a mailing envelope, put it in a box when you send it out for delivery! My boxes of tea came in smashed boxes. Now regarding the PG Tips Decaffeinated tea. I have to say, it is the best I have tried in decaf teas. It actually has a scent and flavor and does not just taste like hot water. Which has been my experience with other decaf tea's. More recently Tetley's decaf English Breakfast tea which taste like hot water, and nothing else. The PG Tips Decaf has a slight floral scent and a tea taste, though not strong. It kind of reminds me of a lighter tasting version of Barry's Gold caffeinated tea. I am very happy with this purchase as far as decaf teas go. My favorite black tea is PG Tips regular, but I can't handle the caffeine in the evening. This is a great alternative if you are looking for a decaffeinated tea.

This tea " NEVER " gets a bitter taste. You can leave the tea bag in all day.

The PG Tips Decaf Tea is our favorite. We used to be able to buy it locally but it is now not available. So we did purchase it through Amazon from a supplier in Britain. Everything went smoothly,. but be prepared for a bit of a wait for delivery; it is coming from England. However, the vendor advised there would be a wait and gave an accurate delivery date. It actually arrived the day before indicated. Completely satisfied with this transaction.
