Gold ToeMen's Cotton Fluffies Casual Sock, Big-Tall

I liked that I could buy a single pair of socks. While I would have bought one more pair had they been available I was not looking to buy a 6 pack and/or a variety of colors per pack. I wanted plain brown socks and was very happy to find that AND in such nice quality!

I would prefer to buy in quantities of three, but this is the first time in two years that I was able to buy khaki fluffies that weren't part of a multipac of various colors.

The quality isn't too bad, just OK. The cotton Gold Toe socks manufactured about 6 years ago (or ealier) were better. They were incrementally thicker. I personally would pay more for higher quality (virtually) all cotton socks, like the ones manufactured 6 years ago.

Like every other product once manufactured here and now manufactured in some other country, quality went down the drain. But it wasn't only quality that bit the dust. Colors are different, fabric content listed is a joke, foreign bodies must be shaped different from ours, and I have yet to find a clothing item made abroad that has all the seams intact, in the right place, and put together correctly. Recently I bought a" silk" blouse that had a surprise zipper from armhole to hem. What purpose does the zipper serve. And why can't foreign seamstresses learn how to inset a sleeve? And since when did "silk" and 100% Polyester exist in the same blouse. I won't be buying these socks again, by the way. Fortunately I bought 3 dozen pairs when I had the last chance to buy the ones manufactured here. I treat them like cashmere, hoping I don't outlast them.

Great socks, but as mentioned in another review, they are not very green - more a brownish tone. If you really need a green sock, this probably isn't it. Ordered for my spouse to wear with his olive Keen sandals, and they are fine together.
