Great quality, ton of fun, take to beach
This thing is so fun! Advice: Get the lines fully out, draw then from the kite to the wrist straps one by one, do this as many times as it takes until you feel there are 0 twists in the lines. Fly the kite, then when you wind it up put the wrist straps together around the spool and wind in a figure 8 pattern (not a circle). This prevents tangles and big headaches. To launch the kite, lay it line side down, leading edge facing you. If in moderate to strong wind, put a little sand on the leading edge to hold it down. Feed out line as you walk backward to full line length. Then give a little pull on both lines when you feel a gust or sustained wind. To make the kit climb in weak winds, you can pump the lines together, or alternating. This works surprisingly well actually. Don't hesitate to make big movements pulling the lines asymmetrically, but be prepared to counter as the kite is extremely responsive. You can make it dive bomb and 180 ground level then back overhead. You'll want FULL radius clearance, so walk to a semi secluded part of the beach. Once you get the hang of it, you can comfortably fly with people around, but you'll have more fun if you have some room. You can even make it chase people sometimes. This size might pick up a very small child a little. It's a workout for me in strong winds. You will need sone wind though. If winds are light, do something else. This isn't a run and pull behind you kite; you need wind. Excellent quality by the way. I now have a much bigger kite surf traction kite, but this one is still a ton of fun. Safety note: dont fly anywhere near power lines. This kite can go from far left to far right in seconds, so keep the full radius clear until you are really comfortable with it. There's a little learning curve.

This is a great stunt kite, especially for beginners. Survived many crashes and still working well.
Responsive, easy to fly and handle. Able to handle crashes. I look forward to a lot more fun with it.

Exactly what I wanted
I just moved to a windy place near the beach and was looking for a kite I could fly with my kids. This is great because it won't break if it crashes. This is also so much fun to fly. In about 8 knots of breeze it flies beautifully and is a great introduction to stunt kite flying. Mine's taken a beating so far. The kite and control lines are top-quality and well worth the price. The first day I flew the kite some dogs came running over to see it, and then their owner came running after them. The good news is that the owner was cute and I'd never had met her if I hadn't been flying this kite. The bad news is that I was very much giving off "the guy flying a kite" vibe, which isn't as attractive as you might think. If you're looking to score a date with this kite, look elsewhere.

This kite is awesome!!!!
I canโt overstate how much fun Iโve had with this kite. Iโm getting into Kiteboarding so I wanted to get a few trainer kites just to get a feel for the wind, and this Synapse has ended up being one of the best purchases Iโve made. It takes a little while to learn how to fly it, but youโll get the hang of it quick. It can be a little tough to keep airborne if the wind is light but if youโve got steady wind, this thing is super fast and you can do insanely aggressive moves. I brought it to the beach a few weeks back and people were fixated on it. The colors are awesome, the build quality is solid, and it fits into a tiny pouch for easy storage. I bought a tail to accompany it which looks cool in the air as wellโฆ My buddy took the attached drone video

Lines broke within a few days
The good: 1) Fun to fly in stronger winds. In +20mph winds my 8 year old had a blast and even for an adult it was fun to fly. 2) Simple design The bad: 1) The lines close to the kite showed some serious damage after only flying it 2 times. 2) Sand gets in easily inside the outside air pockets. Its a bit of a pain to get it out and the kite simply stops flying when too much sand gets trapped inside. Overall this kite could be a really good starter package and would have promise if the lines would be more durable. I would not recommend it because of the line issue unfortunately. Returning this one - was hoping this would be our family kite for the next decade! :-/

Wind speed dependent
Good quality. Is a little finicky if the wind speed isnโt right. My son loves it though!

First time parafoil user. Had a blast!
Never touched a parafoil kite before. I struggled at first, but it wind was very light. Came back to it an hour later when the wind picked it up and it was much easier! Start with calm movements and get fancier as it gets comfortable. Watch out for other people, if it comes down it can down fast and hard. My college kid and I had a blast with the kite.

Highly recommend!! Best kite ever!
These are THE BEST KITES EVER! Seriously. My boys love them. They have taken them out every time itโs windy. They are super easy to fly and really tough. My boys have crashed them into lava rocks and it just flies back up. Canโt recommend them enough!

Great first kite, flys excellent
My first proper kite, really impressed. In a 15 knot breeze you can have a lot of fun with this kite. I've already decided I want a bigger one. My advice is get the next size up to start with.
