For its price tag is a good game.
I saw a couple of video reviews of the vintage version of this game, and I thought to buy this game to play with my kids because they need to learn the US States but it is all so difficult for them because they are not in America. However, the game system seemed totally random and did not make much sense to me pick something for a random money and sell the same thing for another random money. Like a 50-50 chance of making money or lose money. Yet the reviewers ended up the videos on saying that it was not a bad game and recommended it. The new version looks nice and it was only $14 in amazon so I bought it. It worked out that there is this rule that makes the game to work, and actually we had a lot of fun, my kids 11 and 13 liked the game. Basically, two rules you should remember: a- you buy from from another player but you sell to the bank b- both times, when you buy from the player and when you sell to the bank, players have the choice to re-spin if you don't like the initial figure. But if you re-spin you must accept the second result and can not go back to the first one. When you buy the goods from the seller, the seller is the one who accept/reject the price. When you sell them to the bank is the player who decides to accept/reject. And that makes the game good to play with kids. It is a little gamble game wrapped in an educational setting!

Some mistakes were made on the spelling of the States
We love this game. It is fun and educational. However, one of the cards had a misspelled state of Wisconsin and had "Wisconson" written on it instead. I am a little disappointed about the lack of quality control. I have to take one star off for that reason. It is still a fantastic game. I hope the makers of the game fix the mistake. I wish I could get a replacement card.

A great educational game for the whole family
I bought this game to help my children learn some U.S. Geography. We are a homeschool family and are always looking for ways to make learning interesting. This has been very helpful. I have children in multiple age ranges from elementary through highschool. They all enjoy playing this game, and not only during school hours. There's a couple of different options to play the game, a short version and a longer version. So depending on time or for younger players (or tired moms) you can choose the shorter version and learn quite a bit. This is a STEM game and is great especially for boys who don't like to sit still and memorize facts. While playing this game you will learn more than basic geography as you travel around the states. You will learn some history of each state, its capital and its resources. You will also learn a little about buying and selling some of those resources. Everyone will learn something from this game.

Nostalgia
This is a remake of an old game I played as a kid. I see they lowered the money amount, there used to be 500 dollar bills. They also got rid of tobacco(I think) as an item to sell. It’s a straightforward game, and lots of fun with the family. At the same time, it is full of fun facts. It helps sharpen everyone’s knowledge of not only the US map, but it’s capitol cities, what items grow where and where products are made, but there are other geographical facts on the cards. Awesome game

Moves fast, while learning location and fun facts of the states
I was a bit worried this game would be a lot like monopoly (time wise). It’s not. It moves pretty fast. We had 5 players (from age 10 to 2 college age to 40 and 60s) and the game lasted about 1-2 hours (including the time we took reading directions for the first ‘trial run’) the game moves a lot faster now that we have read the directions. Also every state is labeled. Very educational, fun way to learn about location of states, as well as fun and interesting facts about every state. Kept everyone interested and entertained!
