There is confusing information about this product both on Amazon and at Kingston. It took two weeks to find out from Kingston technical support that this drive cannot be backed up to a cloud due to its security software setup. If you need the back up feature, please buy the Locker 50, which is a bit slower but same USB 3.2 drive with cloud back up function. It is a pity, the Vault Privacy is a decent safe drive with good reading and writing speeds.

There's comfort in the added security for storing sensitive personal files.Some of the prompts were not clear on the first time setup, and I had to restore it and start over because I couldn't edit certain entries.Overall, I'm happy with the device as it is easy to use once I got used to it.

If you are required to have something stored and encrypted this is as easy to live with as it gets. It isn't cheap for the storage capacity but it is secure.

Secure storage with decent performance

Compré este USB con seguridad hace unos meses.Me he esperado a hacer el review para ver qué tal iba.La verdad es que estoy muy contento. Viene con un software de seguridad que funciona muy bien. No me ha dado problemas. Anteriormente había utilizado discos duros LaCie para temas de seguridad, con su software. No tengo queja de ellos, pero este funciona también muy bien, y es muy compacto (con gran capacidad).No es barato, pero si quieres algo seguro, yo lo recomiendo.
