100 Nespresso Rossomoka Compatible Coffee Capsules By Cialdissima, 100% Italian Coffee

The pods made by Nespresso for Nespresso machines are superior to the many aftermarket alternatives. They are also much more expensive. The Nespresso pods are made of aluminum while the aftermarket pods are made of plastic. I have used pods from approximately a dozen aftermarket manufacturers. They vary in design and in quality. Partly it is due to the quality of the coffee and partly due to the design of the pod itself. Some pods are manufactured with plastic that is not sufficiently rigid and will become crushed when inserted in to the Nespresso machine. This often results in a watery cup of coffee because the pressurized shot of water does not extract all the coffee in the pod. In some cases, no coffee at all is extracted. In some cases, the foil at the upper end of the pod is too loose and does not fully puncture when inserted in the machine. If the espresso or lungo does not taste strong enough, look at the pod after making the coffee. You will probably find it crushed in a way that it shouldn't be or find that the foil is only partly perforated. The Rossomoka pods were new to me. I find that the plastic becomes distorted at the narrow end of the pod and the foil at wide end of the pod is not tight enough. Nevertheless, the coffee tastes good and the shots have not been watery. If this trend continues, I would recommend Rossomoka as an acceptable substitute for the costly Nespresso pods.

'Strong taste'- outright lie. Weak, stale, bland. Big surprise I can't just return to Amazon. It seems I'll have to haggle with the manufacturer or something. That's probably because they know their product is terrible and they won't dare stand behind it. I should have researched more but I was really busy and wanted to try some "strong" coffee. Get what you pay for.
