I love magnets and this, oh boy, IS A Magnet. Fun to mess around with. It is strong. Don't let it slam as these magnets can chip. Mine hasn't but over all they can. Get it! Have fun.

If you have plaster and lathe walls, this magnet is just about the only thing to help you find studs. This truly works wonders. Would absolutely recommend.

Scary powerful. ...and I never thought I'd say that.

This is really cool, but the magnet is REALLY STRONG. It is probably not great for kids. We have two and my kids put them close by to each other. They weren’t even that close and they slammed together and would not separate. They slammed so hard that one magnet chipped off a chunk and smaller pieces! Although it was cool, we realized they probably shouldn’t have free access to these with the damage they could cause.

If I were to rate these simply based on their magnetic force they would get fourteen stars. I bought these to use more or less as a toy and was pretty surprised how un-toy-like they are. For starters, the average human will never be able to get the two magnets apart out of the package. And if you do, be EXTREMELY careful what you put them near because they will fly toward iron-containing objects with great glee, and their mass could cause significant damage. Finally, once I managed to get them apart (using two pairs of channel locks and about all the strength I had), when I decided to let them come together again, the force of their attraction broke a large chunk off of one. The next time I did it, one of them broke in half. These things are industrial strength.

Subject: Strong Magnets but Handle with Care ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ These magnets are very strong and work well for DIY projects, crafts, and holding objects securely. The size and build quality are good, and the nickel coating gives them a nice finish. However, they can be difficult to separate and are more fragile than expected if they snap together or fall. Overall, they do the job, but they require careful handling to avoid chipping or breaking.

I love these magnets. I do interior finish and use these to find studs in the wall. There are very string and even able to fin studs in double layer thick walls. Careful though there so strong that if u touch 2 together its almost impossible to get them apart lol

I took a chance and bought this for finding screws in drywall instead of purpose built magnetic stud finder. Very please with how well it works for that task. One concern I had was how powerful it would be and if I would be able to easily sense the pull of a hidden screw while passing over -- yes, no question: it will stick right on the wall against gravity when on top of a screw. Tip for screw finding: sweep with a flat side, then lightly hold a corner of the cube over the target area, letting the magnetic field draw it more precisely on target, then press the corner into the drywall to make a divot. If anything this magnet is annoyingly powerful, constantly jumping onto tools, keys, anything. Good problem to have versus too weak however.

Fab, opens the school phone cases. Bought it just incase and my son accidentally locked his phone inside his after school one night. Worked like a dream. Really strong.
